My husband and I visited this establishment and I immediately knew I would be writing a review. Then I read the owners responses to negative comments, wow is all I can say. Since I didn't want to deal with an immature owner I thought about whether or not it was worth the review. Yep, it is.
We entered the establishment about 3:45 on a Friday, there were only 2 other tables with customers. We were not greeted, as a matter of fact, the owner/ bartender was annoyed that he had to stop filling his pickle cards to come take our order.
Our order ... even for bar food this was below subpar. I have no problems with frozen appetizers but the cost for the amount you get - totally not worth it. We also ordered burgers and fries, seriously ... frozen hamburger patties??? This is Nebraska folks we do real beef here. The fries were ok, nothing special, just frozen bag fries but edible.
We sat waiting for our check so we could leave. At this point the owner came over and tried to have a conversation which was strained and left us feeling quite awkward.
The one thing I can say is, although a bit overdone, the decor is nostalgic.

Found a few seats by the door that were open, but had a sign on them stating it was reserved for a party at 8:30. So we sat down as we were only going to have a drink or two. After being served out second drink (630ish) we were berated by a few members of the party that could not read a clock, and started name dropping the owners name (Trevor?) We decided that it wasn't worth the hassle and left. Not the owners fault, but might wanna think twice before reserving an entire table on a Friday or Saturday night.
