We were very disappointed with this experience. Our chef, Aiden, was polite but there was absolutely no show—no utensil tricks, no broccoli toss, no onion train, no jokes, no sake “man,” nothing. He only spoke when spoken to and simply cooked the food in silence. This is supposed to be an interactive, entertaining experience, but instead it felt like someone just came, cooked, and left.

The food also wasn’t handled well. Items were cooked at different times, so nothing was ready together. The vegetables were done first, sat too long, and ended up cold and overcooked by the time we ate them. Sake was only offered once and never brought back around.

While Aiden was nice and the food tasted good, the entire point of this type of service is the show—and there was none. This is the second time we’ve used this company, and the first time our orders were wrong. After giving them another chance and being let down again, we won’t be booking with them...

Rain came to our house, lit up the grill (and our lives), and proceeded to deliver the most delicious hibachi known to mankind—all while roasting us with jokes hotter than the grill itself. Not only did he toss shrimp into our mouths like a culinary Cupid, but he also had us laughing so hard we nearly dropped our sake.

The man had more sauce than the yum yum, more flair than a Vegas magician, and cooked fried rice so good we considered adopting him.
