WOW, WOW, WOW!!! This is how I would describe my entire experience ordering a special 31st birthday cake for our Trans-daughter Luna! My husband and I currently live in Tokyo, Japan, as expats, so finding a fabulous bakery to make and deliver a delectable and eye pleasing cake for our daughter was of the utmost importance to me. I noticed Anchal, the owner of The Dallas Cakery, had received a plethora of positive reviews online and the photos of her creations were also a delight to behold. With the 14 hour time difference I was able to reach her at 10pm, her time, and she never made me feel bad about the late hour. We discussed what I was looking for in a cake design, cake flavor, fillings, etc. and she surpassed my expectations. The payment process was professional and user friendly and she delivered the cake exactly as promised. My daughter was thrilled with the aesthetic of the cake and also the scrumptiousness as well. All throughout the process, Anchal was a complete delight to work with. She will be our go-to bakery from here on for any special occasions celebrating our daughter, in the Dallas area. We are transplants from Chicago. My husband’s favorite is Atomic Cake, and I wanted to get him one for his 50th birthday. It is an extremely local treat from the Chicago area, so of course we can’t find one here. It is a busy cake, with three different flavors of cake layers and three different fillings. I contacted Aanchal, provided a link to how the cake is made and asked if she could do it. She agreed, and she did it with short notice. The cake she made was better than anything we had back home. She makes everything from scratch and the quality of her work is beyond compare. If you tasted a bite of her cake dry, with nothing on it, it will be the best cake you ever had.
