Hot Buns’n’Cakes — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

A few weeks back, I posted about wanting a particular kind of cake for my birthday. I had several bakers reach out to me, and after talking to a few, I had started conversations with Samantha Mora of Hot Buns n cakes. Not only was she prompt in responding to me, but she was very energetic and made me feel great about my event. She was excited, I was excited, and it just made the whole thing fun. She was quick to set my expectations on the cake. The one I originally wanted fed 30 people. I only needed enough cake for 12. I asked if we could make the cake smaller, and she was honest saying that she could, but it wouldn’t look right . After some back and forth, I order my first anniversary cake from her! She asked questions I didn’t think about. what color scheme do you want how Many are we feeding do you want vanilla do you want flowers on it.

She was way easy to work with, book, and pay. She’s also local. So made pick up so easy. I had to reschedule once. And not only was she understanding, but flexible.

Hot Buns is AMAZING! Samantha did an incredible job on my daughter’s graduation cake. Not only did it look beautiful, it was exactly what I wanted and tasted great!
