I wish I could say that the 1 star was because I had actually met them and seen their cats. I can't claim that. I filled out 2 applications by accident (at least I believe I did) and they refuse to adopt to me because of a few discrepancies on the applications. I truly have zero clue what those discrepancies could possibly be and they refused to answer my email requesting what they were. I have a slight memory issue at 61. Not something I should have to defend. But I wasn't given a chance to one way or the other. I mean, what was it that put up such a red flag that they wouldn't even tell me and let me answer their questions about it? I even offered that they could come and see my home. Silence. And I know damned good and well that my references are great.

As a current cat owner, I find their attitude very offensive. Guess not all their cats and kittens need a great home where they would be spoiled rotten and be loved beyond...

Seemed a bit gatekept. Planned on going here and adopting a cat with my kiddo for her first pet. Was shown around to all the cats then afterword to apply.

I applied but was a little blown away by how intrusive the questions were. You'd think I was adopting a human child. They want references, names of vet, who you rent from, the ability to stop by home and check on said cat. 🙄 I applied because I love my daughter and she really wanted said cat.

Email I received was a condescending lecture about needing a vet and that the matter was closed 🙃.

1 star for there being good cats. 1 star to be nice. -3 stars because I came here to adopt a cat and was told I cannot because I hadn't previously talked to a vet. Even though I was planning to use a website they themselves reccomended...

Never have had such a wonderful experience at a shelter. You can tell they are definitely are all about making sure the cats get the best possible placement possible. With that being said they also strive for the best customer service. Laura the co-founder was working when I came in with my daughter a half hour before closing and we found the perfect kitten but I wanted my husband to come see her before making the final decision and she stayed a couple minutes after closing for that to happen. Then after filling out the application on a Saturday, the adoption coordinator Marj was was very fast in processing and very responsive to any questions that I had.
