Wing Kingz — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

My husband, son and I came here for dinner. We ordered sweet, barbecue, boneless wings, french fries, chicken tenders, and the deep fried cauliflower and deep-fried mushrooms.

The service was impeccable, including delivery to our car, even though we didn’t ask for that.

The food, though, was AMAZING I would have to say the cauliflower and the mushrooms were by far the best I’ve ever had in Grand Rapids and I’m not very young so I’ve had a lot. On the chicken tenders (which had the perfect temp and juiciness) the owner said it is his own recipe of batter and they were also extra delicious. The boneless wings were also perfect temperature and juiciness, they had the perfect amount of sweet barbecue on them, he did not drown them in sauce, which usually makes me think the places that do are trying to cover up something but Wing Kingz had the perfect amount of sauce.

The only thing lacking, and it is not his fault, is, there is nowhere to sit, so it’s just pick up and go, which is fine. I just thought I would mention it in case anybody has the idea that they’re going to go in and sit to eat their food.

Oh, you have to try the kamikaze Kool-Aid I don’t even know how to explain it, but...

My teenage boys absolutely love Wing Kingz! They use to prefer Wing Heaven, but sense our location changed we have tried every wing joint in 50 mile Radius over the past few years, and ironically Wing Kingz was probably the last joint we haven’t tried. And it ended up being “saving the best for last!” They not only have the best choices in all varieties from seasoning to sauce, but they have the best quality of wings (meat on bones)! To top it off, they have a great variety in menu chooses for any non wing eaters. And the quality of those items are just as good! (Fried Pickles) ☺️And of corse, we can not forget the importance in timing on orders! My boys stopped requesting wings for eating out because when there hungry they want to eat. We have waited several times an hour or more getting take out at Mike’s Wings, even when there parking lots empty. And no matter what, every time we pull up to Wing Kingz there parking lot is packed full and we have never waited more then 30 mins! If you are a wing lover you have to try...

Terrible customer service. I Was standing in line waiting to for them to take my order. They ignored me while they took phone orders and cashed someone out before they helped me even though I was clearly in line. I'm sure the food is okay, but when customers service lacks, they won't receive a Penny from me.edit now they make it look like my fault with the reply. They didn't wait for my order, they walked away, came back to pick up the phone and ignored me once again. I was clearly done looking at the menu, hence I walked to the register to ring up my order. Kinda hard to look at someone while they have a conversation with someone else. Customer service is a 0 in my book and neither of me or my friends will return. Continue to have your convo with your "friend" while your lose a customer. Doesn't take much to put a call in on hold, while you help walk in customers first or in the order they called/ walked in.
