The Elevated Market — Local services in Grand Rapids

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write a review for Elevated!! In short, this store is my happy place. The store is huge and a wonderful mix of items: clothes, antiques, wall art, books, home goodies, furniture, really anything you could ever want! They take pride in the items they sell and making their store a welcoming, whimsical, silly, fun, friendly place. I have spent hours and hours wondering around this place and looking through their treasures. The owner Heather, and other employees, are truly wonderful people. The turnover is incredible - I come at least once a month and every time, there are hundreds and hundreds of new goodies to explore and look through!! The prices are very reasonable and they are always open to offers. They also have occasional sales, offering even BETTER deals. There were 2 blue swag lighting fixtures I liked and inquired about. I was told $400 for each but I could make an offer. I offered $300 for each and my offer was turned down. That was okay…they gave me a counter that was substantially higher. I told them I was not interested at that price. I looked at some other items…ended up spending $120 on a mirror. I asked about another lighting fixture and was told it was not for sale…it was clearly for sale. As I was buying the mirror it was clear that sales person was salty. My last 2 trips there and with my 3rd visit I had spent over $1,000. They knew about my previous purchases…I didn’t have my punch card and they wouldn’t give me a discount.
