Sabor Latino — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

The food here is great. But I do not like how they cannot comprehend what we are ordering and gives us what we didn’t ask for. I always request the sauce on the they put in the stewed chicken on the side because I love how it taste on the white rice, they act like they know what we are saying but ends up giving us beans instead. I do not like beans and will not eat it. I’m currently pregnant and now I’ve been ticked off for the last time so we sadly will not be ordering from this place anytime soon. I have been very understanding of the incorrect item for to long and now I’m just fed up with the lack of understanding on both parts. I thought writing this review would be better than going up to a small business and letting my anger out on them. We just will not be ordering from this place...

Totally handicapped accessible right down to the owner holding the door open for me in my wheelchair. Real honest to God Puerto Rican food. My friend who loves it very hot enjoyed his goat and rice. Another friend enjoyed the same thing only with chicken. I could not pass up the chance of a real Cuban sandwich which I had to take half of it home after stuffing myself on the first half. Best Caribbean food ever. Family operated. Try the baked chicken. Try the deep fried potato balls. Try the red beans and rice and don't forget chicken and beef deep fried pasties. Gotta get here by 11:30 am if you want to try the pasties or potato balls cuz they sell out every single day by 12:00 or 12:30. I love the food here. I would not recommend eating in because its so small but I get take out here twice a week! All the food is made fresh always served hot...
