GameStop — Local services in Granite Falls

I do not know what happened to this Gamestop, i have been going here for about a year and half. The original staff was super nice and legit, they never forced me and my husband into a sale that we didnt feel comfortable with. Cameron and guys i wish you would come back! I haven't seen any of them for months! The new store leader is annoying on how she pushes games onto you, we went in to purchase a switch, they didnt have one, and were extremely pushy on ordering one to have it shipped to our house. We said 3 different times we werent interested and would go somewhere else. The game we did purchased they were ALSO pushy about buying a 3 dollar insurance, sorry but i know how to handle my games. After the 3rd time of saying we would go somewhere else and the store leader asking again, my husband said we were going to Wal-Mart to buy it! The store leader huffed and said "well i dont believe in what they stand for", in which my husband said "atleast they can keep their items in stock." I use to think that this gamestop was sooo much better than the others and didnt force you into buying things you didnt need, but if they are pushy to two grown adults i hate to see how they treat younger people. Ill skip this one and head to hickory...

Was looking for a Nintendo Switch for my son and I and went to the Lenoir store to seek one, only to find that it had been shut down. So I called the Granite Falls location to see if they had one, they did and came in to take a look at it. Helped me get a good deal on it, on top of helping me get a copy of Pokemon Violet with my renewed Pro subscription. I love going to GameStop for good prices on games that other places push too high for. I love coming here for FNAF plushies, Pokemon cards and shirts and other merch. I can't remember his name, but I'll call him Mister Magic Fingers and I appreciate him helping me work with my budget to get the Switch and the game for a good price. You're awesome and hope you'll be there when I come get my son's Mario Kart game! Your manager was funny and very knowledgeable as well. Looking forward to seeing...

Overall, an above average gamestop but they have 1 particularly amazing employee. Sarah has gone above and beyond to help me get hard to find collectibles on numerous occasions now. She has done a couple store transfers for me so I wouldn't have to drive 1 hour+ each way to another store. Literally every other gamestop employee I've asked to do this (at this same store and 3 others) have acted like it was a impossible request and we're typically very rude when refusing to do it. She is also super friendly and helpful during standard purchases as well, which makes their required suggestive selling a lot...
