Our gas logs went out the same time our electric heat pump did. When I called The Fireplace Guys, I did not offer this information but the employee I spoke with asked if our logs were are only heat source even though they were extremely busy. After learning we only had space heaters, she got off the phone with me to see if anything could be done. She called back within the hour to say they could fit us in for that day.

Come to find out, our logs were not working because we had not had them serviced in some time and dust and pet hair/dander can obstruct the pilot light's ability to communicate with the saftey unit that shuts the gas off if it does not sense a flame. Once again, despite being busy, he carefully explained to us how it all worked and things we could do to prevent another shut down. He had our logs cleaned, inspected, and working in no time.

We were placed on a service reminder list for yearly service during the summer months. They have a very fair deal that if you get your unit serviced in the summer and they stop working during the heating season, they will come out and fix them for free (if new parts are needed, those are not covered). With three dogs, one cat, and two almost feral children, I plan to use this deal from now on.

Everyone was very professional and kind. It worked out that they could help me immediately, but even if they couldnt I would still rate this company five stars and feel comfortable vouching for them anytime. Great experience! Terrific family business, very professional, they show up as promised, knowledgeable, always get back to us promptly. Dennis even told us about their yearly service plan that saves us money! We had a propane stove that was great if power went out but with one small flame didn't give that "wow" look to the room. When they walked into our home, they laid down drop cloths. None of their tools etc were on any other surface! In less than 3 hours we have a 36" firebox with 24" logs that look so real and a Light Inside the Firebox ( blows our mind) that provides atmosphere when you dont have the fireplace lit!! The gas line was run, power was connected and they cleaned up. We got a very clear explanation of the remote and fireplace workings. First, let me say, I absolutely love my fireplace! It looks great in my little home.

The whole team was great throughout the process. From helping me select the correct gas logs for my home, to installation, and to final instructions.

Dennis helped me select the correct product for my home and made sure they took care of pulling permits, and scheduling the inspections. They not only installed their product, but the also hooked up my gas range.

Allan was great showing me how to turn on and off the gas, using the remote, and basic safety.
