City Grind — Restaurant in Granite Falls

I have been going here regularly for a while now. This is my favorite little coffee shop. All of the folks who work there are super nice, and they get to know you after a while. Which I really like!

They have a regularly changing specialty drink menu, and I am always excited when a new one is posted! Their baristas are also great if you have an idea of a flavor profile you want, to make something custom to match it that is absolutely delicious.

The coffee is amazing, but so are their baked good! They make the best pastries. And my son loves their cake pops.

They also have a great menu for non-coffee folks! Different types of teas, infused energy drinks, infused sprites,...

I love their coffee and over all vibe. However, the atmosphere does nothing to make you want to stay a while and enjoy your coffee. The tables at their booths are simultaneously too large to sit on either side and too short for the length of the booth benches. They are cafe tables meant for four chairs to be sat around. And the temp inside has been very cold the couple times I’ve tried to enjoy inside this winter. If they were to get proper tables for the booths and adequate temp control, this place would be THE SPOT but it’s far too...

I was going to the little diner in the same little strip, but they were only doing takeout, so I stopped here. Very small, very unexpected, very good. The mocha was one of the better ones that I've had. And thanks to some suggestive selling, I also walked out with a bacon cheddar scone because I was told they taste a lot like the red lobster biscuits.
