I had such a grand time on the tour today. Judy was a terrific tour guide and very knowledgeable. We even got to touch the slip. I loved seeing how Fiestaware is made and talking with the great people that work there. They work extremely hard. The process from start to finish is absolutely fascinating. What is most remarkable to me is how much of production of Fiestaware is still made/done by hand.
Judy gave us a sweet ornament after which was a lovely surprise.

Read moreBuilding a beach theme house and heard about Fiesta outlet. Sure glad we made the trip. They had 3 shades of blue. Got them all! Loved digging thru the seconds room. Worth the time for the major savings, especially if there's an indoor tent sale like we came upon. Suggest bringing rags to wipe off dust to check for blemishes. We happened to be geocaching our way along the Lincoln Highway when we happened upon the Fiesta tent sale. i enjoyed learning about the early days and how the company evolved to what it is today.
