This DG tends to stay stocked a little better than some of the other DG's I've been to although there have been numerous times where some sections like the pet food haven't been stocked. There's usually an issue of not having anyone at the cash register when you're standing and standing there. A lot of times, you have to go looking for them because they aren't looking for the customer. It seems DG's have a hard time keeping employees. They should pay better considering they're a multi, multi-million dollar corporation and can buy everyone else out. One employee also told me no one was allowed to get 40 hrs a week. I was the 4th person standing in line while the cashier was talking socially on the cordless phone. We could all hear her. She motioned to us, one minute. After about 5 mins and one customer walking off, she finally got off of the phone. I was the only person left to be checked out when she said, I'm about to be off the clock, so I'm not checking you out. After all that, some people would have been angry and dropped the stuff and left! It wouldn't have taken her 3 mins being I was the last customer waiting with only two items. She told me to go ask the other employee to check me out, which was at the back of the store! He looked at me funny until I said, she says she's off the clock now. Also, watch your bags because 3x, I've driven home and realized they didn't hand me all of my stuff when they handed the bags to me. You'll have to drive back if you want it and hope they didn't give the rest of your purchase to the next customer. I used to work in a store very similar to this and we had a lot more customers than them. Never once did I short a customer of their purchase by not making sure they had everything they bought. Chris was the best manger they ever had. They were stupid to ever move him to bridgeton, n.c. if i could give them 0stars i would. Ever since the store has been remodeled it has gone down hill fast. 6 months ago If I could give this store ZERO stars I would. Customer service is a joke!! A complete joke and whomever the manager is needs to step it up. I stood at the register for 7 minutes waiting for someone to come AFTER I I hit the button for help. I walked around the whole store and didn't see a soul. ThisYOUNG lady walks out the office with no remorse and tells me to use another register. No apology for having me waiting AND the sad part is I was the only customer in the store at the time. Read moreCame into the store trying to buy some items with coupons, to which the lady proceeded to lazily scan three coupons first before even scanning the items I had. She never looked at the coupons to notice if they were good or not ,the screen clearly took off the discounts and she then said something about cracking down on couponers which leads me to believe she just didn't want me to get my discounted items. I'm also a cashier across the street and I know that you have to scan the item before you can scan the coupon. Had no problem with any store...
