My daughter needed a nebulizador and both her nurse and doctors assured me that her state funded insurance would cover the cost of the piece of equipment yet when I went to fill her prescription at Pamlico Pharmacy they quickly shut me down and said they couldn’t “bill” her insurance. Many times I had seen other moms fill this same prescription at other pharmacies and this wouldn’t have been such a big deal but my daughter was DEATHY Sick and needed it terribly. I did research and realized that every article I read stated that her insurance covered it and it is the sole choice of the pharmacy to provide it which apparently Pamlico Pharmacy doesn’t feel like they make enough money to offer it state funded insurance patients. Then on top of all of this A pharmacist had the audacity to call me about a Facebook post. Always very attentive, pleasant, and one shopping chore that you really look forward in doing. Besides your friendly staff that is always so helpful, the store displays a variety of nostalgic items along with a line of well selected clothing that any person would love to have as in their personal wardrobe. As I said before, everyone is very helpful and caring but those pharmacists, Mrs Holly and Mr Wayne, well all I can say is that the owners of Pamlico Pharmacy are very fortunate to have them working for them. But if you look close enough, all of the Pharmacists work well together and make you, the customer feel very important. Please give them a chance and try them out. My oldest daughter and I was there with her husband and 2 children to visit my youngest daughter and spouse for Christmas. We made a trip to this cute lil pharmacy to pick up a few last minute stocking stuffers, I must say if you’ve never shopped there definitely make a short visit in there you won’t regret it!
