I got a message from linda at 8 pm at night to tell me Clint was making several complaints on me because I asked how his mom is doing. I have work hard there, I have done shoe's, clothes and I have done the metal for years. I pay for everything I get and there's people that are there that doesn't pay for anything and after hours they go down there and take stuff, they even let people take metal out of the ben and I went to ed about it. I have done nothing wrong and I think it's very unprofessional of Linda to text me and not call me. I am always at care and share Monday through Saturday at 6 am to 9, I don't take break's like everyone else does. I wouldn't recommend anyone there until they clean house and get rid of a bunch of worker's. I have never seen so many backstabbing people in my life as I have at care and share. It's funny how me, ed. Kerry and Kathy clean the dock off because Clint didn't show up to do his job. Just like Willie he's always giving Casey everything and taking it out to her car. They sell stove's, washer and dryer that don't work because I bought a washer and dryer set for 35.00 dollars and they didn't work and they didn't even try to make it right. The reason nobody can't find any miss me ladies jeans is because Casey gets all them, she makes sure all the clothes, jewelry or anything worth money she gets. So if all you people reading this I hope you don't go back there and now you know why they don't have anything in the store. Linda and Cassie is so worried about me paying for my stuff but they don't worry about Cassie, Linda, Willie and Clint paying for their stuff.. it's ashamed that linda wasn't woman enough to call me and asked me about anything, she just accused me of not minding my own business and all I did was ask how a elder lady was doing. They better be worried about the lying, stealing, drunk's, backstabbing people working in there and selling stuff after hours, when they are not open.i was a very loyal volunteer I was always there when school closed or when they were closed for the holidays and this is the thanks I get. I called the president of care and share which is a pastor and explain the situation and he said he would call me back in a week and it's been 2 week's and still haven't heard from him so that tell's me he doesn't care what goes on at care and share. I hate liar's, drunk's and thief's and people wonder why this world is so messed up because of people like them. This is what care and share has be come, a trash yard because there...
Read moreCare and share is what most organizations set out to do which is primarily a discounted clothing, household, and furniture “thrift” store with an aim at helping the community that it resides in. What it does better than any of the other good Samaritan inspired shops is that it keeps its prices to the level that hard-working folks can go and actually come away with more than they bargained for. It is a respite in a crazy world where prices keep rising with inflation and care and share still will sell you a absolutely Christine vintage corning ware dish for a dollar. And at the same time you a shirt, whether it’s namebrand or not… For just twobucks. It’s something to be expected. It’s something you can comfort in. The selections swing widly from “ this place is picked over!!“ To “Hells Bells! I found Julia Childs, the art of French cooking - first edition on the bookshelf over there!” You can expect to find a cheerful checkout staff who is rotated each week from the churches locally in Gravette… And don’t forget to look under the porch where many of the large big ticket items are there and quite a steal. If you need a couch for any reason, there’s always one there for five or $10 And your awesome retro grandma’s couch with the brocade flowers on it or a vinyl lounge chair that someone just needed to get rid of.
Care and share also is the local organization that hands out gas vouchers, meal, vouchers, and access food pantry for a lot of the local residents who are not as well as other shop there right next to them. That’s the thing I like about Karen share the most is the diversity of people shopping there range from those who absolutely really have no place else to go, and those who travel up to 50 miles just to get there each day , if you think I’m making this up, be there on a Tuesday morning when they open after their weekend at...
Read moreI have been going to this place for the last nine years. It was hard enough to get there when they closed at 2pm. Now that they have close at 1pm, I'm lucky if I can make it. Today I got there ten minutes before closing and was turned away from the door. I was told that they were closed. When I said that I thought that they closed at 1pm, she said it is 1pm. I looked at my phone, it was not 1pm but I got in my car and drove to the doctors office. I was able to drive to doctor's office, a few blocks away, text my husband three messages, look up their phone number, and dial it before it reached 1pm. When I called, they were unapologetic and said that they can choose to close early because they are volunteers. When you have a time posted, when you close, you should be respectful of potential customers who have a hard enough time to make it. I work 6 days a week, all during those times with a few minutes to spare. Guess I won't be shopping...
