Today I’m bringing you an easy dental tip for your furry friends at home! 🐶🐈 I encourage all pet owners to brush their pet’s teeth regularly, however sometimes this is easier said than done! Another easy way you can also greatly benefit your pets is by regularly cleaning their water bowls to reduce the bacteria re-entering their mouth. Look how cloudy this water dish looks in the before video. That buildup is the result of the bacterial BIOFILM that is part of the same plaque that forms on our teeth! Yuck!! Simply scrubbing the dish with a drop of dish soap removes the film with gentle friction, just like brushing your teeth with toothpaste. Then look at that bowl sparkle! ✨ On the dish’s metal surface the bacteria simply multiply and spread, but left in the mouth those bacteria multiply and react with food particles causing tooth decay and periodontal disease. This is exactly why it is so important to brush our teeth (and our pet’s teeth!) properly AND regularly to remove the harmful bacteria and prevent dental infection and tooth loss. ***𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲*** This is even more important if other pets have been around drinking out of the same bowls, and ESPECIALLY if those other pets have extremely stinky breath. That odor is likely the result of severe bacterial buildup, and any bacteria from their mouths can easily be passed to your pet through the shared slobber 🦠 Remember you can always take control of your and your pet’s oral health, but you never know what kind of harmful bacteria is lurking out there in any shared saliva 💦 Stay fresh, stay clean. #brushyourteeth #dentist #greenbay #dentistry #dental #dentalhygiene #dentalassistant #teeth #healthcare #dentistryworld #dentistrylife #pets #furbaby #furbabies #petstagram #petsofinstagram #bacteria #biofilm #education #science #shiny #clean

They’re amazing they have so many complementary drinks and snacks. They offer complementary massage chairs, stress balls, headphones, and so much more! Great atmosphere and great people :D. My front tooth chipped to the point where I looked like Jim Carrey in dumb & dumber and they helped me fix it! My tooth actually looks better than it did before it was chipped and it looks natural. They did a great job and I highly reccomend this place!

THEY TRIED TO RIP ME OFF! (Read below)

I visited Willow Cove for a cleaning after not seeing a dentist for about four years. At the time, I didn’t have dental insurance, so I was paying out of pocket. During the visit, they conducted X-rays and a full evaluation, informing me that I had several cavities, gum issues, and needed my sealants replaced.

My fiancé, who also hadn’t been to a dentist in about 12 years, went to Willow Cove the same day as me. Unlike me, he had insurance. Despite his longer gap in dental care, his evaluation revealed no cavities or major concerns.

Later, I obtained insurance but discovered Willow Cove was out-of-network, so I switched to Dental Designs. During my first visit there, they conducted X-rays, a cleaning, and a full assessment. To my surprise, they informed me I had ZERO cavities, no need for sealant replacement, and that my gums were perfectly healthy.

This stark difference between diagnoses left me feeling that Willow Cove may have taken advantage of the fact that I was paying out of pocket. Additionally, during my cleaning at Willow Cove, the hygienist made an inappropriate comment, saying “oh, ewwie,” while cleaning my teeth. This was both unprofessional and embarrassing, leaving me convinced I had serious costly dental problems.

I’ve since researched this issue and learned that A LOT of dental practices exaggerate diagnoses, especially for cash-paying patients. I strongly encourage everyone to seek a second opinion before committing to costly procedures. My experience with Dental Designs confirmed that I didn’t need any of the treatments Willow Cove...

I relocated from out of state and was hesitant about transitioning to a new dentist. I had my check up and cleaning today and the whole experience was top notch. I was able to schedule and fill out my paperwork online which was seamless. When I got to the office, it was a cozy, modern practice. Emily at the front desk got me checked in quickly and got me settled into my chair. I even got a blanket as requested and I was so cozy throughout the 2 hr appointment. Kim, the dental hygienist did a thorough evaluation prior to Dr. Olson’s exam. She also took all the imaging and everything was modern with digital x-rays and the panoramic X-ray. She also took the time to thoroughly explain the areas of concern and educated me on how to optimize my gum health. Dr. Olson then did his part of the exam and answered all my questions. Kim then completed cleaning which was extremely thorough as well. Everything was very transparent including pricing and I never felt pressured in any way. I opted not to use insurance, and the new patient special was a great value for the level of service that I received. I’m looking forward to returning for the rest of my treatments. Thank you to the team for the excellent service and for being so friendly and personable. I wish I had a team like this in childhood as my dental 🦷 health would have...

For over twenty years I've gone from one dentist to another, seeking a provider who cared about their patient more than the money. After my longtime dentist retired, I wanted to find a doctor who sincerely cared about me as a person; who was excellent in their craft, and worked with me to determine the best possible solutions for my dental health - tailored to my needs and finances. I longed for a dentist whom I can rely on for the rest of my life and dental care. Finally!!! I found this in Dr. "T" and his excellent care giving team. I noticed the difference the moment I walked into their comfortable office, fitted with complimentary beverages and snacks. I was then greeted by the friendly receptionist, Emily, who gave me a tour of the office. Molly was my hygienist, and is caring, efficient and kind. Dr. T introduced himself after I sat down, and after my cleaning, he spent considerable time reviewing my Xray’s, discussing any issues, and working with me to determine a treatment plan. He is by far the best dentist I have been to in my 70 years of growing teeth! I left the office feeling great about the visit, and with my complimentary gift in hand, I said something I never thought I'd say after a visit to a dentist - "It's been a...
