Alright, I passed this on West Mason St on the way to my daughter's science fair and then back. "Taco Town, lets see what this is about" I said to myself.
I settled into a $6 steak burrito on the go. Do they have cilantro? Nope, don't bother asking. Would I like hot sauce? Absolutely.
I get home and look for my hot sauce expecting a small round of some type of tomato, onion, cilantro hot sauce concoction. Nope! It was a condiment soy sauce looking packet that said "hot sauce" and looked like a watery Tabasco.
I unroll my burrito from the foil. One look at my flour tortilla and I could tell this wasn't even warmed up on a press. Tortilla was cool to touch. Opened burrito to put on Tabasco and the yellow cheese wasn't even melted or close to melting.
The refried beans were nothing special. La Preferida probably has more taste to it. The steak was so-so and not too hot.

My husband and I have driven past Taco Town so many times and finally decided to stop in for dinner. The owner was SO kind and when he saw we were newbies he let us know what the most popular items were. We ordered both beef and chicken crispy tacos along with a bean burrito. I asked if the items could be made without cheese or sour cream and he said "absolutely!".
We got our order in a very timely manner and everything was correct. What's more, the food was SO GOOD and the portions were really generous. Very happy with this place all around. Skip Taco Bell and support this local business... it tastes so much better than any...
