Sportsman's Warehouse actually earned a "Zero" rating, but, that's not an option here. I ordered a pistol online to be delivered to their Chambersburg, PA store. My credit card was immediately charged. Shipping was to take two weeks. I called the store for a status at about two and a half weeks. No one would pick up in the firearms department. I tried repeatedly to make contact and got hung up on numerous times. I tried emailing the store manager using the email address posted on their website. My email was returned as undeliverable.
I called customer support and received similar excellent customer service. After about a half dozen tries, I actually spoke with a competent CSR. He tried to contact the Chambersburg store and also got hung up on. He finally got through to the store. The CSR called me and said the gun was not there. At this point, I surmised that some salesperson saw the gun and sold it for the commission. I asked the CSR if that's what happened. Reluctantly, he said yes. As a solution, the company offered to send out another pistol. It would arrive within a week. I waited a week, called the CSR and was told it had yet to be delivered. I demanded and received a refund. I will NEVER buy anything from this store.
By comparison, I found the same gun at a small dealership in West Virginia, Bosley's Firearms. Since it was an out of state purchase, it had to be shipped to a licensed dealer in my state. It arrived on time and as advertised.
My recommendation, avoid Sportsman Warehouse at all costs.
UPDATE: See Sportsman's response below. I replied with an email saying I would be more than willing to discuss the situation just call or email me and provided them my contact information. An automated email was returned stating that I would be contacted with 72 hours. That time has come and gone, surprise, NO RESPONSE.

Drove back days later the background check wouldn't go through because I was out of state. Drove a third time, $80 in gas six total hours on the road the staff wasn't at all interested in getting me done quickly, prepaid and when they finally had everything in the system (they new I was coming) the system said I owed $49.86 and nobody could figure out why. After many minutes they just threw a credit in the system and the $5 background check I was never told I was to pay became $2.33. Absolutely a horror show, the website without any "exclusions" listed anywhere offered $50 back when you spent $200, an email was to be sent immediately after the sale. No email came so I called corporate, I was told a gun purchase would get me the certificate at pickup... Get the promised coupon it is not good for two weeks and you have to come into the store to use it, again I am an hour each way and more than $25 in gas per visit. I could not believe the hoops I had to jump through and the fact nobody including the corporate help actually know all the rules for the discounts offered. Every answer was "to bad so sad sucks to be you", not once did they even attempt to fix the issues or offer anything to make up for their shortfalls. The associate asked to see it on my phone and literally said yeah I see the 10% next thing you no it's gone because he hit delete. I now cant get it back. Manager said sorry nothing I can do now.
I called customer service and they said sorry there is no manager on duty today to call another time to complain...REALLY!!!.
She then advised that all stores are different and can do what they want on coupons or prices. Online shows no inventory for what I was purchasing but they had 1 in the store. I said ok then I will buy it online and just take this 1 with me. oh wait I'm not allowed to do that.
I went to the camp hill location and wow what a huge difference. Extremely nice, went above and beyond to help me out. They couldn't help with the safe but purchased 3 guns and they gave me a discount
Take the ride to camp hill. The members at the chambersburg store could careless to help or go out of there way to help. Heck it took 3 people to figure out how to open the safe. I will never return to this store. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
