For some reason I love this little old shop and we bike there once or twice a day while saying in the park. We have bought a lot of out fishing stuff and camping supplies here. We bought some cheap aluminum cooking stuff at a big box store one summer only to go buy the cast iron stuff here and it was worth it. The also have good sandwiches and everything that you forgot while packing and is a good place to stop for an ice cream cone. The staff is friendly, helpful and I can't wait to say hi to them tomorrow for the first of many camping trips in the area...
Read moreI was disappointed to see how this business has been left go. The store was cluttered, disorganized, and seemingly lacking in available merchandise. I remember the glory days of this business; it wasn't long ago that it had a deli & ice cream stand and sold live bait & fishing licenses. All such services no longer exist. I just wish the ice would be better frozen. There's already some water in the bag when you get it. No other store in nearby area so you don't have much of a choice.
