Horrible customer service. I came in to price some dress forms. I saw a dress form that didn’t have a price sticker on it and before going to the front desk I searched all over the dress form for a price and didn’t see one. When I went to the front desk to ask for help, I was ignored. Another customer who was in front of me told me that I could go in front of him and the lady who was initially helping him just ended up ignoring me. No one even acknowledged me standing at the desk or even said one moment so I had to say excuse me, I have a question about a dress form. It doesn’t have a price sticker on it. The lady who ignored me told me that she would be right with me. I showed her the dress form and ask her the price she then said it’s supposed to have a sticker on there, and I said I know I looked and didn’t see a price sticker, which is what made me come to the front and ask for the price. She then told me to wait so she could look around and find the price. I didn’t realize that behind the initial dress form there was an identical dress form price at $175. The lady then points to the sticker and says oh these are the same it’s $175. I said ok thank you but she then proceeded to say I don’t think that’s the right price and then peeled the price sticker off of the dress form and then said I need to make sure that this is the right price. I was actually surprised that she did that in front of me. I then asked if this is the price on the sticker does that mean that you’re no longer going to honor the price? She then said, I don’t think this is the right price, anybody could have found this price sticker on the floor and stuck it on this dress form. I then said really, that seems very unlikely especially since this was all the way in the back, so at this point are you not going to honor the price on the sticker and in snarky tone she said I got you but I need to talk to the manager to see if this is the right price. I told her not to worry about it, especially since they weren’t honoring what was already on the price sticker she kept telling me to wait until she talked to the manager, but I ended up leaving after five minutes of waiting for him to come out. It was very weird. It was like she didn’t want me to buy it at the price that was on the sticker, but then was pretending as if she was going to help me out and still wanted to sell dress form. The customer service was just too horrible. I have never shopped at a place who just decided decided to change the price sticker when they didn’t feel like that was the right price. The owner here is very condescending and rude. My boyfriend and I came in looking for some inventory storage items for my new office/studio for my online clothing store. We are a young 20 year old couple and felt that the owner, specifically the woman, spoke to us very rudely as if there was no way that we could afford or need anything they were selling. I don’t feel the need to prove myself, but I have done very well for my age. Not to mention, many of their fixtures are grossly over priced. For example a simple small shoe rack was $115-180 for a piece that wouldn’t hold much inventory. Luckily I have majority of what I need already and am just looking for an extra piece or two to finish out my office. I will not be recommending this place to anyone, nor giving them business. I've been going to this store for miscellaneous stuff for years and no matter how simple of an item I go in for, I always spend at least an hour browsing! They have everything you could possibly ever want for a store or shop or vendor booth (including some stuff you never thought you wanted but decided you could totally use). My most recent purchase was a mannequin torso and some label cards. They have what seems like an endless supply of mannequins in various forms - heads, bodies, heads and bodies, body fronts, arms, hands, male, female - you name it, you'll find it. I already consider myself a creative person, but browsing everything they have (and they have everything!) gives me so many ideas for things to make to go on the displays!
