Tender Lawn Care — Local services in Greensboro

Tender Lawn Care handles the lawns of quite a few homes in our subdivision. I always get a serious case of “lawn envy” while walking the dog, so we decided to use them, too.

I thought the only way to improve our yard was to truck in several tons of topsoil and start over, but TLC said it wasn’t a lost cause, and took it on. After an inspection, they created a plan of action and have made regular visits - and we can see a noticeable improvement.

There’s still a long way to go before our neighbors experience “lawn envy,” but we’re making progress. One of their guys, Miguel, was out this afternoon spraying a blend of nutrients in anticipation of spring growth.

All of TLC’s employees, from the owner on down, are friendly, helpful, and patient with my questions.

We moved from SoCA to NC in 2021, so lawncare is very different. Previous year, we tried a large nationwide company to take care of our new lawn but was not impressed with their service or customer service. A work colleague recommended Tender Lawn Care and we have not been disappointed. This year is our first season with Tender Lawn Care so I have lots of questions about the lawn care and the process. I have had the pleasure and opportunity to have the Tender Lawn Care company work it's magic on my property for over a year (one season) and I must say I'm impressed. My technician Jeff has done a wonderful job of restoring my lawn to the envy of my neighbors. I'm retired and have the opportunity to be home when he arrives and witness his work ethics. He shows up when he says, does a fantastic job, cleans the area and gets out your way, and I appreciate that. I highly recommend the fall aeration and reseeding program, it has really made a difference in overall health and appearance of my lawn.
