Poole’s Pharmacy Care — Local services in Greenville

My wife has multiple prescriptions filled monthly at this location, and has had them filled here for months. There has not been one single time her prescriptions have been called in to be refilled that they have been ready for pick-up on arrival. Today, I went in to pick her prescriptions up, and two of them were still waiting to be filled. I was told if I could wait, they would go ahead and fill them. I informed the lady who waited on me I would return in an hour to pick them up and left to finish some other errands. I took longer than expected to get back to Poole's, a little over two hours. Upon returning, I was informed the two that were not filled when I first stopped in were still not filled. So, guess who still ended up waiting for them to be filled.

I asked to speak with the pharmacist as to why I still had to wait, and she did a fantastic job of providing excuse after excuse as to why they were not yet filled. I understand they are busy, and their jobs are rather tedious, but come on. When someone says they will return rather than wait and still ends up waiting upon returning, it becomes a bit unacceptable.

While I prefer to keep my business local, my wife and I will be seeking another pharmacy to fill our needs. I refuse to give business to anyone who operates in...

On 5/21/2024 the Patient arrived at Poole's Pharmacy to pick up an electronically transmitted E- script from his Board Certified doctor. The Pharmacist in Charge refused to comply with the Doctor's Order. The patient advised they were not leaving without the Maintenance Medication. Police were notified. The owner, (Ron Poole)was not present, directed the Police to remove the patient. The patient had been a repeat consumer. Upon Police investigation ,it was determined the Patient had violated no laws. Pooles was fined $ 1.1 million doli lars in 2023 for severe violation of over providing Controlled Substances. Legal action pending for violation of 42 USC, et al...The office of the Kentucky Atty General was contacted with a Referral to the KY. Board of Pharmacy for further investigation/ and or possibly Criminal prosecution. I’ve been using this pharmacy for years and years and have been completely happy until lately. Seems they’re getting too big for their own good and customers are no longer important. It’s has me absolutely heated and searching for a new pharmacy. I’ve been on the same meds for years and years. Suddenly, it’s like pulling teeth to get my meds filled. And it’s excuse after excuse. I’ve still yet to get all my needed meds this month. I’ve called so many times I gave up. I’ve been made to feel like a drugy calling about me meds. Like seriously? It’s a disgrace.
