UPDATE: Made my way back to Greenwood again. After moving a hour and half away I don’t make it that way often. I love 💕 it even more than the last time. I love that you can find a variety of styles throughout the shop. The furniture is so unique. I love how they can have new modern pieces but also offer a little mid century and older. I saw a great old harvest table with all the old fun imperfections I’d of loved to have when we build. It had lovely old charm. Oh how I hope that beautiful table is still there when I’m ready. I loved the character it had and the fact it wasn’t perfect.
Thanks for always having something for everyone. Julie
Some of the best quality furniture. I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek of these beautiful pieces in person before they reopen after the holidays. All Uniquely refurbished furniture.
This shop is truly a gem in the heart of greenwoods antique district.
Their shop is home to over 40 small businesses and they are able to curate such a beautiful shop with a beautiful collection of new home decor mixed with some unique handcrafted and second hand decor. Week after week. The beauty of this shop is they can take the old well made bones of furniture and give it new life. They just don’t make furniture like this anymore. Such talent. You get “Quality, one of a kind with great pricing”
Kudos to all the amazing small businesses inside...
Read moreI am not a antique collector or treasure Hunter lol but I saw something advertised about The Porch Swing so my 12 year old daughter and myself checked it out today and I was pretty impressed. It was full of very cute, artsy items. There were boutique clothing, lots of wooden wall signs with various sayings, lots of fall items, restored older furniture. None of the 4 ladies working (including the owner) spoke to us as they were busy speaking and giggling among themselves but I was impressed enough over the presentation and selection of the store that I won’t allow that to take away from how I rate it. I’m not big on the smell of old items and a bunch of clutter and this store felt more like a updated version on antique shopping. Maybe even a cleaner version if I may. I highly suggest checking it! I will be back closer to Christmas time and plan to buy a...
Read moreWhile they have a great selection (and I would go there again) I am not happy with the dresser I bought bc the drawers are incredibly difficult to pull out and push back in and only a week after I got it already the hardware was coming off of it 🙄 I know it’s an antique but at the same time if I am paying $150 for a dresser it better be a quality piece that is functional. I won’t say a sweeping statement about them being a terrible store but I would think twice about spending that kind of money on a piece of furniture I’m actually needing to use instead of just something nice...
