I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at your establishment today. For over 13 years, I have been a loyal customer, consistently ordering nachos with the same specifications. However, my experience today was drastically different and unfortunately, quite negative.
On two separate occasions, my nacho order was prepared incorrectly, despite my clearly communicating my preferences to the employees preparing the food. Instead of acknowledging and rectifying their mistakes, these employees responded with rudeness and accusations, claiming that I was wasting their time. Their behavior was unprofessional and frankly, unacceptable. The situation was further exacerbated when they involved the manager, falsely portraying me as the source of the problem.
I have always valued the service I've received from your deli in the past. Today's incident, however, has left me profoundly dissatisfied. I believe a review of staff training on customer service and order accuracy would be beneficial to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future. The not so friendly older man behind the counter was getting the meat seasoned as the 2 younger men were throwing raw meat at him which he would hit away with his hand. The younger man told him that he probably wouldn't even catch herpes if it was thrown at him.
Three family members got ill after eating the meat, although I can't say the meat is what made them sick. I usually love eating at Casa Lupe, but will no longer buy meat from them. The women at the counter were very sweet and professional. They are the reason for the 3 stars instead of 1 star. I would give the girls 5 stars if the rating was only for them. Our burritos were layered (couple bites all cheese, couple bites all onion, couple bites all meat, and when I got to my second meat choice (pork) it was slimey and spreading weird in my teeth as if it wasn’t cooked all the way.
