Heritage Oaks — Local services in Gridley

I had a great stay here and would have came back many more times in the future BUT that ENDED at checkout as we sat in the office for a good 15 -20 min so they could inspect the room so I could get my deposit back. My room was as clean as a guest could have it and then the maid came to office with one white sheet and a small hand towel that THEIR Red blanket bleed on to after getting wet and soaking through. Owner took $40 dolloras for these two used dinghy pieces of low grade material out of my deposit... WHAT A DAMN JOKE.. IT DOESN'T EVEN COSTHALF THAT AMOUNT TO REPLACE IT. When I used to live in Gridley this was my one stop for almost all my shopping needs. Safeway is great place for quality meats and produce. Next door you have a place to get your hair cut. Then get all your auto parts. There is also a dollar store all on the same strip. Black Bear diner is my fav restaurant in town. I almost forgot but you can get all your banking needs...

I generally go to Dollar Tree & the laundromat there more then the other 2 store. There are only 5 businesses there .Safeway is to costly for my taste unless they have a sale or I go to buy produce.
