I have recently moved from locust grove and decided to try a chain pharmacy. I had used cvs in the past and was not happy so I started using Moyes in locust grove. There is definitely a difference between retail pharmacy and mom and pop. I had 6 different medications to pickup and unfortunately I don’t get home from work in time to pick them up so I sent my 20 year old daughter. She picked them up and took them home. When I got home I started taking them out and realized that one bottle said it was to be 15 pills but it was crossed out and 15 written. I asked my daughter if she was told anything and she said no. First I called the doctor to make sure something didn’t get mistakenly sent in wrong. They confirmed 30 were sent. This made me confused I tried calling the store of course no one ever answers. So I called my insurance company to see what they had. I was told it was a simple fix with a prior authorization and she would send it to the doctor. Before I even hung up I was given a message in MyChart that said the doctor received the PA they had sent it in and it was approved. I should follow up with the pharmacy. I called and just as any other time it rings and your on hold this time I am in Atlanta traffic and nothing but time so I wait. 26 minutes I finally get a person that answered. I state my name and start to tell her the issue and she cuts me off saying I need your date of birth. I gave it to her she then responded with name? Which I again tell her as I did when she answered. She says hold and places me on hold. This time 22 minutes. She comes back to the phone and says what prescription are you calling about I said well as I was telling you previously……..( gave the name) she said yes there is a limit on this and you have to wait till next month. Wait… no one even told me there was an issue I have not had an issue in the past. Why didn’t someone call or state this when it was picked up. She said not my fault I was not working. I said so you are an educated drug dealer who simply doesn’t care about your patients? This is a life threatening drug that I can’t be without due to blood clots. She in turn said again you will have to wait. I asked for a manager she said he will be here tomorrow. I said your name? She said faith I said wow that’s a great name for you. I hung up. I am going back to mom and pop shops. These chains don’t give a crap if you have your meds or don’t
I would stay...
Read moreI scheduled a covid test for 02/03, & they ensured that I would get my test within 2-3 business days. When 3 days had came by, I still did not receive my results. I called the pharmacy to see what was going on (I work in the medical field myself so I would be understanding if the test results were to have a delay) the woman who received my call talked to me in a very dismissive tone & told me the results will take 5-6 days instead. I brushed it off & went about my day. HOWEVER, just today I wind up getting a call that my test was LOST & NEVER RECEIVED BY THE LAB. I thank God that I been feeling better for the past 4 days now, my symptoms were mild; a runny nose & sore throat. But this location needs to be more careful as to how they conduct themselves in collecting covid test specimens from patients. What if it was a patient with a more serious matter? People have died from this virus because of not only miseducation, but the lack of attentiveness in healthcare. Could you imagine if someone came in with more severe symptoms & ends up in this same predicament? That’s a serious matter on the line! Please get your staff together & learn to be a little bit more vigilant before you accidentally put somebody’s life at...
Read moreThey have terrible customer service. Rude employees not willing to help me told me over the phone that they didn’t carry the medication I needed and when I walked in the store the same day I found it. It would have taken two minutes of their time to verify that they had it in stock. One of the rude female employees who got on the phone and claimed to be a manager (Britney)told me they didn’t carry the medicine or the generic version of it. That she did not understand what I was looking for and she was going to transfer me to the pharmacy so I could ask them and then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. I have never had such poor customer service at any other CVS location. Deja was the person who answered the phone and was behind the register when I paid for the medication. When I went to pay and I told her I was the person who called earlier and that she and the supposed manager had both given me the wrong information instead of apologizing; she became belligerent and was very disrespectful to me. Waiting for a call back from corporate office for a week now... Deja and Britney should go work somewhere else where they don’t need to act like they care about people who are sick like you would need to...
