More like a 4-H event than an actual fair. Visited for the first and only time on 7/18/24 between 7:35pm-7:55pm. Only 1 non-live stock building, holding the various ribbon competition displays (majorly kid stuff), Only 4 food venders that included their own snack/grill shop inside the exhibit building called "grannies kitchen" + 1 smoothie stand (1 flavor, premade sitting in a cooler) + soft serve (3 flavors with a handful of topping options) + mini donut trailer (wasn't even open), 1 "grand stand" that they use mostly for auctions/livestock related & 6 livestock buildings.... that's it. There's no carnival rides nor games or associated ticket vendors & prizes, no music or live performances, no vendors/merchandisers (not unless you include "Bayer", a nearby agricultural business or "windstream the telecommunications provider. Almost no actual stereotypical fair food stands/food options (such as: funnel cakes, corn dogs, corn on the cob, cotton candy, caramel apples, fried oreos & etc). No beer tent/garden... didn't see anyone carrying alcohol for that matter. Shuts down before sunset. It's a good thing its...
Read moreMy son and I attended the Extreme Bull Riding event at the fairgrounds. We had a great time due to the people working the event. I had called ahead to see if they had handicap seating for the event (I needed this because my son is in a wheelchair). I was told by staff at the fairgrounds "yes, there's handicap seating. My son and I had to constantly battle so he could even watch. Luckily the kind people that work the Extreme Bull Riding event assisted us in keeping people out of my son's way. I give the Extreme Bull Riding 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The fairgrounds I can't say anything...
