Okui's Strawberry N Fruit Stand — Local services in Grover Beach

I’ve known the owners and their family since elementary school. These have always been hands down the biggest sweetest berries. I live in the OC and I drive home several times durning the spring & summer, while they are open for the season, it’s the first place I stop to get a 1/4 flat of berries to take home, I share with my family & friends here. For the lady complaining the berries are expensive, yeah if you are comparing to store bought berries🤦‍♀️ You will not get anything even close to the quality in a grocery store period. Like they say you get what you pay for. Today I stopped by a stand near my house, guy was charging $25 for only 4 baskets, $70 for a 1/2 flat & $90 for a flat. So if you think $12 for 3 heaping baskets is expensive, best not go to the place I went to. I ended up not buying. Cause they weren’t as full as Okui’s baskets and boxes are. I can’t wait to stop by very soon & bring home the best...

This family run stand features their excellent homegrown Strawberries, but can have other seasonal items. They are open from about April to September & they always have the Strawberries that are grown on site. The extremely hard working family members & others who work there are very pleasant.

The stand is a bit hard to find & you need to take either a side street off of Grand Ave. or do a bit of GPS off of Hwy #1 since there is no direct route.

ABSOLUTELY the BEST strawberries on the Central Coast, if not all California!! You won’t find fresher, juicier, tastier strawberries anywhere 😋😋 We personally don’t eat any grocery store strawberries amy more. Tip: freeze some for during the “off season!” They also sell seasonal veggies and other fruits which are fresh and delicious and reasonably priced.
