Brother's Market has everything you need from the big city chain grocery stores and more. I love shopping there because the vegetable and meats are always fresh and of great quality. The store is always clean and organized. Cashier, deli and meat lines and always short and speedy for those of us who have families to get home too. The staff is in my book top notch in my book for customer service always willing to help or lend a hand. Lunch specials always leaves you wanting to take another dish home for supper. They are family to our community and help our town continue to thrive and prosper. They will always go above and beyond to make sure u have a wonderful shopping experience making you feel right at home where we should be. Brothers Market is a great place to shop for your groceries and other items. Before Brothers took over in Grundy Center I used to go to Parkersburg to the brothers market there because it was such a nice store. They have excellent employees that have always been very enthusiastic and happy to help me, in both locations. Since I live in Grundy Center and brothers market bought the grocery store that was here I have been extremely happy to have them write down the street instead of having to go to Parkersburg. It seems like they had a little rocky start but things definitely have gotten to the point of where they need to be. I would highly recommend anyone go there to do their shopping. And by doing so you keep your money and Grundy County and that is an awesome thing if you are a resident of Grundy County. By taking the time and effort to do your shopping and Waterloo or somewhere else further away you are spending extra money on gas plus the wear and tear on your vehicle. I used to live very close to a Fareway store in my old town and comparing those prices to the prices at brothers... YIKES. Brothers definitely is a bit overpriced. I recently went there to do a bit of shopping around, looking specially for chicken breasts. They didn’t have any at the meat counter fresh, instead I had to pick up what SAID “ready to cook” chicken breast but when I picked each of them up they were frozen solid.
