Agents in the store are not interested in explaining the details of your purchase...they want to get you out the door as quickly as possible. I went in there to purchase a phone because my U.S. verizon phone had little service so he talked me into paying 100 dollars for him to "unlock" my phone so.that it would work with Tmobile. After all is said and done, I paid 100 dollars for a SIM card and then I had to walk outside to pay the clerk his 100 dollars for unlocking it...he said not in front of the cameras. The BRAND NEW PHONE I was going to buy with activation was only going to cost me 175 dollars. I didnt realize what had happened until it was too late. I had to do a factory reset on my phone and lost over 500 contacts. My backup from the cloud has all my contact numbers with none of the names. I have never been so dissatisfied. Tmobile customer service is even worse to deal with. My service with T Mobile on my Verizon phone was worse than I had before when it was just Verizon programming. I will never do business with this company again. I went across the street and bought a straight talk phone at wal mart for 200 dollars and I have not had bad service anywhere on the island. 4gLTE.
