My experience at this Walmart was disappointing. The staff does not seem to understand the importance of treating customers with respect, despite customers choosing to spend their time and money there. It is perplexing why the staff finds it so challenging to provide a pleasant experience during transactions.
The majority of employees, approximately 90%, lack an understanding of good customer service. Many appear consistently upset about their jobs, which is evident in their careless interactions with customers. When customers are lost, have questions, or face lengthy processes, the staff displays little patience or tolerance. It often feels as though they believe they have the right to treat customers poorly due to dissatisfaction with their paychecks and boredom with their roles. As a result, customer service at this location is severely lacking.
The pharmacy staff, in particular, exemplifies this issue. When seeking clarification about a delay in my prescription refill, I was treated as if my request for more information was an inconvenience. After being given a vague and inaccurate explanation, the staff showed little willingness to provide further details. This level of service is unacceptable and underscores the broader issues with customer service at this Walmart.
Furthermore, the woman who took my call became visibly upset and abruptly asked her coworker to speak with me, stating she couldn't handle the situation. I overheard her coworker attempting to calm her down, but she yelled into the phone that she didn't care and then hung up on me after stating her name. This occurred because they claimed I hadn't provided a justification letter for my prescription refill, despite my certainty that I had, just as I had done for the past ten years. She insisted they never lose anything, but I pointed out that I had experienced their mistakes before. I simply wanted to understand why they said my doctor's letter was expired when it was issued the same day as my prescription.
This level of service is unacceptable. If you decide to shop at Walmart, be prepared to encounter poor service and to solve your own problems without expecting assistance. The staff often displays a lack of motivation to help customers, brushing them off or providing vague answers that leave you more confused.
Customer service excellence is clearly not a priority at this location. They seem to take their customers for granted, likely due to the limited shopping options in the area. Their focus appears to be on minimizing interaction with customers to concentrate on other tasks. Smiling, kindness, and patience are notably absent.
To avoid these negative experiences, consider making a list and focusing solely on finding the items yourself. If you need help, avoid asking staff to prevent encountering their attitudes and indifference. Alternatively, switch to online shopping and opt for curbside pickup, which allows you to avoid direct interaction and receive your items without dealing with unmotivated staff. This approach can help you avoid the frustration and poor service that seem prevalent at...
Read moreNever enough cashiers, lines are extremely long. It takes 3 times longer to check out then it does to shop. 1 person in returns and long wait time. You stand in line for 25 minutes and the cashier will let someone they know cut in front of you and they say they were here before you! I bought a stainless steel fridge and in 2 months it was rusted! I bought a stove $600 bucks, took it home and when we opened the box it was smashed. I took it back and got stupid looks when I asked them to open the box on the replacement before I accepted it. The road into the store is full of canyon...
Read moreWent to buy an electric stove and after waiting for 30 minutes the person from the area finally showed up and said that none of the electric stoves were in stock. We asked about them ordering one for us and she did not want to do her job. She said even if you order they don't show up. It sounded like excuse after excuse. We tried to buy the display and the person didn't even want to call the assistant manager to approve it. If you don't want to work why are you even here. This is absolutely the worst...
