I am recovering from a total knee revision/replacement. I needed to find an outpatient PT facility. I went on my Next door Neighbor group/app and asked for recommendations, and several people recommended Ivy Rehab in Hackettstown , NJ.. I had reservations because I went through the hospital rehab the last time. But they changed their location into the hospital and didn't like the parking . I have been through several surgeries and injuries over the years that needed PT , and I am very particular and intense about my care and progress. So I choose Ivy Rehab because of recommendations and parking was easily accessible to the building. I am so Happy I did!. I cannot say enough about the staff at Ivy Rehab.. My PT Josh is and has been extremely intuitive and professional of my needs. It is an open facility with private rooms for initial evaluation. I was skeptical about the openness at first. But became very comfortable with the layout. You get to know everyone and see other patients and converse if choose too, a very friendly atmosphere which takes of the stress off why you are there. If Josh or another therapist is busy with another patient, their assistants and aids are there to assist you and available for you for help. Because of the open facility your therapist can keep an eye on you while you are doing your exercises. This is lengthy I know , but hoping my review can clear up any reservations or anxiety in finding a PT facility. Having surgery or injury is stressful enough. Finding the right PT facility is very important in your recovery. In writing this review I am about 4-5 weeks into my therapy there and cannot stress enough how happy I am to be there. I keep to a diligent exercise routine they have given me to do at home; and with their expertise, guidance, support, and the encouragement I get from my therapist Josh, and the Staff At Ivy Rehab, I am progressing well .Do I recommend...
Read moreIVY Rehab Physical Therapy, in Hackettstown is a really great place to go to get the help you need if you have hip surgery. Brian, the Therapist, works with my husband after he fell and had to have a hip operated on. He can't walk without the assistance of a walker that my husband uses as a crutch that he grabs so tightly that he's afraid to let go. Brian has got him walking on the parallel bars and even moving both legs with confidence. A real big improvement I've seen in my husband. Just over the 2 week span of him being there my husband is lifting his legs 40% more than before, turning around, lifting his legs, walking with the walker straighter, but with confidence and not holding on for dear life! I really recommend this place for anybody in need of Therapy! Great staff, great equipment, great progress and great programs! They also send videos to you in emails of exercises you learn in their establishment so you do them the right way! But most of all my husband is getting the...
Read moreAll the staff at Ivy Rehab Hackettstown have contributed to my successful recovery. Without the whole IVY team's involvement I would not have regained full ROM/strength from my injury. Starting with the front desk, the staff fully answered my questions, seamlessly scheduled appointments, and changed PT times without issues. Then the Physical Therapy staff always greet you with a welcoming smile, quickly set up work areas with the proper devices, and monitor progress at all times. They are very thorough to make sure all excercises are done properly and to completion. They explain the correct movements and encourage extra work as warranted. This is a very professional group of people. In an age of lackluster performing employees, IVY's staff is extremely professional, dedicated and exceptionally capable to restore injured people back to their...
