I would recommend Kitchen Refresh for your Kitchen updating needs. Primary reason for not giving 5 stars is that Jeff asks clients [specifically & repeatedly] to leave a "5 star review". This rubbed us the wrong way as we felt pressured to leave 5 stars vs. an honest review. Quantity of requests, late night texts, and overall approach in his ask was overwhelming and insensitive as we had experienced an unexpected and traumatic 2nd term pregnancy loss towards the end of our project. It's not Jeff's fault for not knowing this; however, when you pressure someone for a review 10+ times via various forms of communication was unprofessional. We were happy to leave an honest review, in time. We simply didn't have it in us at that point to clean our kitchen, take pictures, or to do anything other than grieve our loss. Receiving texts after 10pm asking for a "5 star review" when we were trying to grieve the loss of our baby was more than overwhelming. That all being said, a few months later, below finally is my honest review: Project kicked off: November 2023 / Finished in Feb/March 2024. Timeline appropriate given the extent of our project. Scope included: removing our soffits & repairing that drywall / shifting some electrical, extending the existing cabinets upwards, removal of existing / install of new counters, removal of existing / install of new backsplash, some painting, installing ceiling lights, new cabinet doors and draw fronts + new hardware, etc. We love our final project & are very pleased with the results. What we loved specifically: Jeff's immediate team was amazing! Dan, Josh, and Erik were friendly, attentive, and overall enjoyable to have working in our home. Josh was especially helpful & Erik was meticulous in installing our backsplash! Quality / craftsmanship - We did have a door / drawer that arrived with tiny defects. Jeff/Dan quickly re-ordered and re-installed. We appreciated their attention to detail. Selection - I was intent on including a neutral blue in our color pallet. Jeff helped find the perfect shade and explained the slight shift in timelines due to needing to go through a manufacturing approval process since we picked a [beautiful] color that Kitchen Refresh had not used previously. 100% worth the added timeline and slight uptick in cost. Itemized list for all charges - Easy to follow Ability to connect us with trusted tradesmen to complete full scope of project Where we felt there was opportunity: Jeff could use an assistant. Kitchen Refresh is a great company with a great service; however, Jeff & team appeared to be a tad overloaded & under-organized. There were a handful of times where days/timing got mixed up. Communication in general could use improvement. It felt like Jeff was using talk-to-text or moving too quickly in our emails/texts and there were a lot of misspellings and sometimes messages were difficult to decipher. There were also times that some details were overlooked, forgotten, or not communicated across the team, and I felt like I was becoming a mini project manager. In the end, all punch list items were resolved. Project Clarity/Ownership - It was sometimes unclear what portion of our project fell under Jeff's management vs our management as well as payment. Ex: We were supposed to own communication/scheduling/payment with the Drywall/Painting company for the removal of our soffits and drywall repairs related to soffit removal; however, Jeff owned these details for the backsplash removal/drywall repair there. In general, the drywall company Jeff connected us with was a bust. Their crew spoke 0 English, they were unprofessional, untimely, messy, scratched one of our new appliances, and they left part of our project unfinished to our and Jeff's expectations. When we expressed our frustrations, Jeff did share that he was planning to discontinue partnership with that particular drywall company & ultimately did remedy what was left unfinished.

When I bought my house I felt like the kitchen was torn right from a Bonanza restaurant back in the 80’s, I hated it! Now seeing the Before and After shots still has me in disbelief that this is my new kitchen. The quality of the Kitchen Refresh product is phenomenal! Choosing cabinet refacing was by far the best decision, compared to cabinet painting or full replacement. Kitchen Refresh Milwaukee installed new cabinet doors, drawer fronts, extensions, hardware and countertops. I chose to do the countertop demo myself, but that work can be done by Jeff’s team if you wish. I love the cabinet extensions up top, no more dusting that weird empty space, and finally a place to store Christmas dishes and the like. The soft-close hinges are wonderful. A visit to Jeff’s showroom definitely helped in making the choices on colors and finishes, and he is willing to work around your schedule to make that happen. The cost of this project was half of what I would have paid to tear it all out and start from scratch, so I was able to use the savings to have new flooring installed and even a new deck. Reach out to Kitchen Refresh and learn about this amazing product they manufacture. I am an absolutely thrilled customer!

I have needed a new kitchen for years, but haven't been able to afford a full remodel. My friend told me that she didn't do a total remodel, but a refresh and the cost was significantly lower. After some research in my area, I found Kitchen Refresh. I made an appointment with Jeff, and the rest is history. He knew what my budget was, and created something special! I can't say enough about Jeff and his team. He was in constant communication with me and even saved me from a meltdown over tile. I was overwhelmed and he said, "let me take care of this for you, I promise your kitchen will be beautiful". He brought samples to my house on a Friday night and I loved what he picked out. He understood me. Eric did all the tiling and also put in my floor. His attention to detail was incredible. I now have a kitchen I'm not embarrassed to have people over, and I still can't believe this is mine. I enthusiastically recommend Kitchen Refresh!

Jeff and his team are absolutely phenomenal in every way. Since the beginning, Jeff held our hands as we walked through the remodeling process for the first time in our lives. Jeff is great at what he does, he is passionate, and he gives it his all to make sure that we are satisfied and happy with what we get. We definitely recommend his services to anyone because of three reasons - Jeff is committed to the project that he signs up, and he follows through every step of the way. Incredible craftsmanship of his team in making elegant upgrades to an old kitchen. Jeff stands by his delivery timelines, and you can count on him throughout.

Going into this project, we didn't have any clear idea on what we wanted the final product to look like. We had explored some Pinterest, but Jeff really helped us narrow down our options to maximize the value for us. He was always willing to accompany us to design studios and visualize what we'd like our kitchen to look like.

Jeff's team started the work two months ago, and we felt comfortable everytime because of their professionalism, demeanor and craftsmanship. They are all obsessed with doing their jobs with utmost perfection. I never felt the need to question them on their quality of work, because it was always top-notch.

Going into the project, I had asked Jeff that I needed it to all be completed before the holidays, and Jeff made that happen. He stayed on top of things, with all the vendors and never let us feel any stress with the process.

My husband and I can vouch for a beautiful kitchen makeover with...
