A pure and perfect JOY!!! An eclectic mix of epic hand and weekend size bags, a very high end varied designer section and also regular brands😉. Uptown Consignments seems to have recognized first, a fact with which we shoppers must contend; clothes are NOT MADE AS WELL AS THEY ONCE WERE. We will ALL be so much better off to have pre-enjoyed QUALITY PIECEs, than brand new tissue paper dress that comes apart at the seams. Yes. Really 👎Anything can look good in a photo online. My online purchases from a varied array of stores i had PREVIOUSLY considered quality have gone downhill! seem to operate on business model of beautifully photographed pictures of clothing which is reliant upon its consumers being too busy to hassle with repacking and bringing to post, the item within the “return window” allotted. Real life Uptown Consignments beats that everyday! And just think, you can bring your own items to consign too!!! Flanked on all sides with glass cases containing the gamut of jewelry, watches, sunglasses from $10 all the way up to Chanel, and Prada, many with that air of Francois Pinton, or “Jackie-O 🕶️.! , is “Bitty”. Seamlessly handling the check outs register greeting each customer who enters, readily pulling out items which catch each shoppers’ fancy, while doling out requested advice with an authenticity so pure, one comes to believe Bitty knows no other way!!! This striking lovely person immediately caught my attention for his similarities to Kyndall Campbell , another rare and authentic beauty who shares that je ne sais quoi factor. Refreshingly genuine, while certainly a perfect presence for the store, Bitty has greatness to deliver the world. As gravitationally pulling as his soft spoken presence, one gets the feeling Bitty’s worldly features , slight yet statuesque frame and interestingly soothing demeanor holds an empire of ideas, a vision a potential for something spectacular not yet seen. When youve been around as long as me, there are just a few people like this, but when i find one, i just know. 😉 The predominance of the store is dedicated to real life wear. An organizational DREAM, the store has a few separate areas for shoes and boots for the upcoming season, an area of workout wear, Gymshark, Nike and Adidas for which I would have easily paid thrice what i did. High end designer names are grouped as such, opposite the $2 tops! Where else?☺️ Aside from the seperate sections, the rest of the store is broken down by type of item (pants, tops) and then by size and then color. Aesthetically pleasing and pinpointed findability 😉

The staff is so friendly and dedicated to keeping the store organized and im sure that if they seem quiet, it is because they are trying to respect your privacy. If so engaged, i have invariably found each and EVERY employess ive encountered to be genuine and helpful. As a committed quality piece finder, and committed consignment fan, Uptown Consignment is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!! I e been coming to the store often and for many years. I dont live nearby anymore I drove one full hour out of my way to visit and shop at Uptown again because , while i count on its consistent real life, quality and low prices, it always surprises too!!! Sometimes its a large dropoff of 50+boxed cuff bracelets for $5 each, a perfect little gift for which the right grateful recipient would value. They even charged my phone for me and let me take a couple of pictires! So thrilled with my new finds, i could not resist! I know i have a few from the store but i may just gave to add more as i incorporate SO MANY FABULOUS AND ALSO PRACTICAL FINDS into my wardrobe and i even found a couple of gifts too! I left for less than $300 with jewelry, Pilates wear, great big white gorgeous white full length ski jacket for approx. $20, “The Ordinary“ beauty products sold at Ulta 80% more$. A creamy Kate Spade handbag $42 My most expensive item at $72, is a deep tan heavy quality suede Talbot’s knee length belted trenchcoat that makes me want to 💋 the original owner!...

DON'T CONSIGN HERE unless you want to get ripped off!! They took 3 of my leather jackets (along with other items). The nicest jacket is the one they priced the lowest and someone was able to use a 15% off coupon. I didn't even know that was possible for new items. It might have been for an employee too because I heard several of them complimenting that jacket when they took it out of my bag, one even saying she wished it was her size!

It was a brand new, heavy, biker jacket, with the $600 tag still on it. And they priced it under $80. My other 2 jackets were priced higher in store- one I got free and the other was at least 15 years old. For my first "payout," they gave me $60 for 6 items (3 jewelry items and 3 clothing items- one being the leather, biker jacket- that were valued at almost $2000!!!)

I sent 2 emails to the General Manager listed on their website and got no reply. I tried to email the owner but the email didn't go through (I tried her first name and email format like GM's since the owners email is not readily available).

So, if you are desperate and want a 3% return on your money, go for it. If you want a fair price for your items, I would suggest you go somewhere else! My opinion.

Now it's months later & Uptown just replied to my review. They included an email address and said contact us, we would like to make it up to you. Well, I wrote to that email about a week ago. And the silence is deafening. So rude, why...

Of the many small businesses I have been to, uptown consignment is definitely on the top of my list.
