I usually don’t leave reviews unless i’ve had experienced poor service. I get it Samosa hut just opened recently but they should’ve done better job in the beginning since everyone wants to try new spots specially halal. Only ordered 3 small things gol gappay, fried chicken & cheese burger to give it a try, Gol Gappay not even worth it. The fill-ins inside gol gappay was literally 2 pieces of chickpeas in each and tiny bit of alo mix all of them were lacking salt no taste. Fried chicken has no taste, there’s no salt in it no flavors as for the cheese burger they topped it with tons of onions with no flavors. Not sure how all of these people giving 5 stars. For only these 3 items they took 45 mins to get our order that too i went upto them saying u guys said it will take 15mins and we still haven’t got our order. And then they said sorry forgot about ur order in the back which was already cold by the time they brought it to our table. Not...
Read moreit's a small, cozy, family-owned restaurant, and you can feel the love in every single dish. I had a feast that was nothing short of perfection: the halwa puri was warm and comforting, just like something from a Sunday family gathering. The samosa chaat was a masterpiece of flavor, and it's clear the ingredients are prepped with care and a deep understanding of what makes a dish truly special. The fried chicken was a surprise hit. crispy, juicy, and packed with that authentic spice blend you only get from home-style cooking. And of course, the lassi was the ideal finishing touch, thick, creamy, and made with a personal touch. The whole place has a lovely Lahori Punjabi vibe, and you can tell it's a labor of love. It feels like you're being welcomed into someone's home for a truly fantastic meal. If you want delicious, authentic food served with warmth and hospitality, this is the place to be. Samosa Hut is a true...
Read moreMy family and I came all the way from Norwalk to check this place out because we heard great things about it, especially the saag and makki di roti. It definitely seems like a family-run business, and they were so welcoming. I really liked the layout and design of the restaurant. As someone who moved from Punjab, I can honestly say their taste profile is the most authentic I've had, even better than what I get back home. The samosas were perfectly seasoned, crisp, and not oily at all. This is hands down the best spot for vegetarian dishes. My favorite dish was the dhai barah chaat. We'll definitely be ordering takeout from here more often, and their prices are really...
