ENORMIS saved me $975 on August 13, 2025. In June, the 4" LCD screen in the center of the instrument cluster, in my 2017 Ford Focus SE 1.0 L Ecoboost, 6 speed manual transmission, fritzed out and totally died over a few days. Everything else in the cluster worked fine including: speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, engine coolant temperature gauge, turn signal indicator, cruise control, warning lamps and indicators. I saw on You Tube that it's possible to replace only the LCD screen, which means no programming is required. The screen shows the odometer, trip information, miles remaining for amount of gas in tank, setting for cruise control, as well as all kinds of warnings, such as windshield washer fluid low, door ajar and so many more. ENORMIS checked the cluster for issues and ultimately replaced only the LCD screen for $291. The Ford Dealership will only replace the entire cluster with an OEM part that has to be programmed after installation . . . cost was over $1,200. I checked with recommended local mechanics and they could get aftermarket clusters for less than half the price, but I'd have to go to Ford to get it programmed for over $500. I live on the southwest outskirts of Houston, TX. I did find two mobile electronic repair services in North Houston that had good reviews for replacing only the LCD screen, however they do not come this far south but offered to meet me in a public parking lot far north of Houston if I paid cash and didn't want a service ticket for my records. I wasn't comfortable with that. I was already planning a road trip in August to go home to Lawrence Park for a family reunion. . . so I found ENORMIS (less than 3 miles from home) in Harborcreek with a Google search. In July, I completed the "contact us" on their website and got a response from Tony in less than 24 hours, stating they would check the whole cluster, but based on my details, he was very confident that only the LCD screen needed to be replaced and pre-quoted "$290ish". So I called and spoke With Tony and scheduled the repair for August 13. Tod texted a reminder of the appointment the day before. So, 1,400 miles later I dropped my car off a little before 9 am. Only car with Texas plates in the parking lot. Tony called me at 12:30 pm to tell me the LCD screen was replaced and I could pick up the car. The screen works great! Not a mark on the dashboard. . . cannot tell they had to remove the whole cluster to get to the screen. Great people and service. I got a call from my Ford Service Advisor last week who told me they are still unable to get an OEM cluster for my car. There are none available and have to be manufactured. (Focus, Fusion and Fiesta are all discontinued). I didn't tell him ENORMIS fixed it. I figure they'll have it in stock for the next customer. . . apparently, it's pretty common for screens to fail. I'm going to let it be a surprise when I take my car in for an oil change. (I have the old screen to give to my service advisor for a paperweight). My $975 in savings paid for all my gas, four nights of hotel stays, food, Erie t shirts, and goodies to bring back to Texas - Smith's Hot Dogs, fresh sausage and pierogies from Trawka's and Greek sauce! (I forgot pepperoni balls and I ate the sponge candy on the way.) And I still had money left! Thank...
Read moreAs a photographer with a very tight schedule, I simply cannot afford any down time and have no tolerance for equipment in my vehicle not functioning at the highest level.
I was recently on a trip several states away... as many of us do, I depend absolutely on my gps system. My "Garmin" had me instructed to "make a u-turn" even though I knew I was on the correct road and going in the right direction... then, it fell right off the dash when I was following some tight turns... and then the updates... EXPENSIVE. Wasn't happy with the equipment or map system.
Upon my return to Erie, I contacted Enormis Mobile Specialties.. I wanted a no-nonsense in-dash gps system that would be reliable... the experts at EMS made a quick recommendation and had one in stock. Of course, I had to google the system, check ratings and feedback, and make sure it was a good system to have and it was indeed!
The technicians at Enormis fit me in quickly, knew all about my vehicle year, make/model and ordered the unique harness related wiring for my specific car.
They provided an estimate and time required for repair/replacement. The estimate was spot on to the penny and I had my vehicle slightly ahead of schedule. They took the time to go over the functions and features of the new system and I was off and back in business!
No more Garmin on the dash... a better stereo system than I had (and i had the top system Honda offered)... and the new system looks like a factory install. Annnd hands free for the phone... hadn't even thought of that.
I would certainly highly recommend Enormis Mobile Specialties for those with uncompromising standards, with no time to play games... A+ all around...
In the words of Arnold... "I'll be back" for all of my automotive...

Tony is hands down the most knowledgeable sound audio professional I have met. He actually takes the time to explain details to you so that you have a more in depth understanding of what you are buying and how sound systems work. In past experiences at other locations it seems as though the employees stick to talking points and know very little other than the brand of the product they are trying to sell you. This is NOT the case at Enormis.
During my most recent visit to Enormis Tony helped me pick a new Alpine head unit and Hertz subwoofer for my vehicle. He didn't try to push me into buying anything I didn't need and made sure that I was certain of what I wanted before purchasing it. He even let me spend as much time as I needed listening to different speakers and setups until I was 100% certain of what I wanted.
When I picked up my vehicle Tony spent almost an hour going over the install and explaining how my new system worked. He even called me the next day to see if I had any questions or issues with the system.
Needless to say, I will be visiting Enormis for all of my audio and electrical needs in the future. I cannot say enough about the level of service that Enormis provides and I have never been more happy with the sound quality...
