After almost a year researching systems, listening to friend’s bikes, and hearing just about everything anyone else has to offer, I picked sinister sound for my 21 road glide special. Being a musician, I take sound and it’s inherent quality pretty seriously. I wanted a system that was not only loud enough to hear over the wind, engine, & pipes, but also wanted a powerful & clear soundscape. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music country, rock, reggae, metal, and the blues so a versatile system was also something I was looking for. The amount of powerful, clear, fantastic quality sound that comes from the 2 speaker system they put in my fairing is truly impressive. The sound reminds me of my professional 4 driver in ear monitors I use when I play with a band in a live setting. Add in the 6x9 bag lid speakers in the mix and prepare to be blown away. I have heard 8-10 speaker custom systems that were not as loud or as clear as the 4 speaker system that sinister has assembled. I had all the work done at Lone Star Rally, and it all took just a couple hours or so. Jimmy, was as knowledgeable about his product and industry as he was friendly and just a pleasure to speak with. I had a great time hanging with him and the guys at their tent during as well as after my install. I’ll absolutely be back next year at the rally for the 6x9 lids that were so impressive during their sound demo, but they were unfortunately just outside of my budget for this year. Look, I have researched them all at this point. I went to every booth in Daytona at this years Bike Week (2025), and I mean every booth. Main mission this year for my RG was upgrade the native audio system. I had specific needs, not for everyone. I wanted great sound without giving up storage space. The system that Sinister Sound uses sounds better than anyone for the money. I have an amazing sound. They installed a 4 speaker system along with an amp. Jimmy was amazing and understood what I was looking for. I could not be more happy with what Sinister Sound installed on my bike. The day after my system was installed these guys helped my brother fix a simple problem with his stock system without asking for anything. They had his entire front fairing off tracking down the problem. Imagine if you had a problem with a system they installed, I bet they would go to great length to make the customer happy. Once I got home I called their shop and asked for a couple of t-shirts.....they showed up the next day at no charge! Their system is second to none for the money! They spec, design, and contract one of the best speaker builders in the country to build their product. These guys care about quality and the systems that they put their name on. What an awesome company! They are truly vested in providing quality products and great customer service. We purchased 2 sound systems for our bikes today and could not be happier with the workmanship and the incredible sound.

We met these guys at Blessing of the Bikes in Baldwin, MI. They were very professional, knowledgeable and were able to answer all the questions we had. We loved the way their show bikes sounded and the price was pretty reasonable. I liked the fact that they didn’t try to push us into purchasing immediately or get us to add a bunch of unwanted extras.

We drove 5.5 hours to their shop for the install and it was well worth it! Their shop is right on the Ohio/Indiana border and is really cool! It’s in this cute little downtown district with some funky, one of a kind shops. We were able to hit up the Hollywood Casino while we waited for the work to be done. We dropped them off at 9:30 AM and picked them up at 3:30 PM. Matt did such a great job completing the installation on our bikes and and we truly appreciate his attention to detail. Our bikes sound absolute AMAZING and were spotless.
