Very disappointed. I stopped by International Foods and picked up a box of vanilla profiteroles from the refrigerated section — just wanted a little treat with my evening tea. When I got home and opened the box, I was shocked — every single profiterole was covered in mold. Not just a spot or two — the whole box was visibly spoiled. This is completely unacceptable. Selling expired or moldy food isn’t just careless, it’s a health risk. It makes you question how often they check their shelves — or if they do at all. A store that can’t ensure basic food safety shouldn’t be trusted. I won’t be coming back, and I’d strongly recommend others check what they’re buying before walking out the door.

This doesn’t feel like an isolated mistake — based on other reviews, it seems to be part of a larger pattern. Food safety isn’t optional, and it shouldn’t depend on whether someone speaks up. Top notch customer service -- staff are kind and helpful. Extensive variety of European foods, especially Eastern European foods. They even have fresh baked bread of the kind that you can't find at most local big box stores. Great tea, dessert, canned and fresh fish, and jarred sauce/spread selections, and many kinds of kefir & other fermented yogurt drinks that you just can't find anywhere else nearby. This store is very well taken care of! Every time I come in, the shelves and floor are kept very clean. The products are so delicious and it’s so fun to try new things, especially since you can’t really find these foods anywhere else.
