I usually use the bookstore because I can get the book quickly. However, after this experience, I'll be avoiding the bookstore at all costs. I ordered my books online by putting in my course number, and I picked them up at the end of the first week. Everything was okay, but I noticed my book was different than everyone else's. The pages didn't match up with what the instructor told us, and the exercises were slightly different. I check, and it's the wrong book. So I go to the bookstore, and request that they change it for the right one. The man who was running the store said that they didn't sell that book, and I must've ordered the wrong book. I told him that I ordered online, put in my course number, and bought the book they had for the course; I told him to pull up my order, and sure enough, it had that they gave me that specific book. He said that if I wanted the correct edition, I would have to buy it for $250 when I was already paying $70 for the wrong book. He said that I should just deal with the wrong book, and it was the best deal I would find. I knew that wasn't true, so I pulled up Chegg, and they let me rent it for $30. I asked for a refund, and they wouldn't ring me up for 20 minutes even though I stood at the register waiting; they acted busy "tidying" books and typing on the computer. The bookstore isn't cheap (almost always can find what's there cheaper elsewhere), but I went there because it was close and I could pick up the books at the end of the week. However, the man working there was extremely rude and acted like I was a burden and stopping him from doing his job, when in reality, I was the customer and he ignored me. I will be avoiding the bookstore unless I have no other option, and I recommend that if you are looking to buy your books here, try going somewhere else. I'm extremely unsatisfied with the way I...
