I applied here for the LPN bridge to ASN degree in April. After waiting for almost a month I called the admissions office hoping to here I had been accepted. They told me that they had misplaced my transcripts and would accept me that day. I was frustrated because it would appear like I hadn’t applied in April and that I did in May and I had wasted a whole month of waiting when I was told that when I applied I would be accepted no problem. I then proceeded to call and speak with someone in the nursing program. A woman named Tonya answered and I told her about my situation in hopes that she could help me. She was very rude, and it was obvious she didn’t care. She told me that I would have to continue waiting and hopefully the committee would decide in a few weeks on this urgent situation. I’m very upset with how unprofessional LMU has been so far with me as a prospective student. Being a private school with the extensive amount of tuition they charge I’m not happy with how they handled my admissions process. I’ll be considering other...
Read moreI was at the Corbin Ky site nursing program. It was horrible, very rude instructors. They would not email you back, it was a hassle getting replies from most of them. One instructor repeatedly left points off tests that I had to demand to be corrected. If you have health issues, please don’t expect them to be considerate. Other students were very rude and had mean girl/snobby attitudes. However, the Harrogate campus was very nice and the instructors were sweet when I was there for SIM lab. Completely different story from Corbin. I would not recommend their nursing program, they were very unorganized as well, especially with the Covid-19 rules. I was also quarantined three times even though I wasn’t around the person who had Covid so that meant I missed a...
Read more"Dreams come true at LMU" This statement could not be more true. LMU has been a place for me to personally reach goals I would have never obtained without the friendly staff, professors, and peers. As a first generation college student, I had no idea what I was getting myself in to while applying to college. Financially, LMU offered so many opportunities for scholarship and ways to pay for my education. I am now a recent college graduate from LMU with a BBA in Marketing and feel as if my education has prepared me exceedingly well for the "real world". I would HIGHLY recommend this...
