Needler's Fresh Market — Local services in Hartford City

Do NOT buy ANY dairy products here. Haven't bought cheese from this store in months because every time I do, the cheese is moldy already when I open the package. The coolers are not cold enough to store dairy, and my fiancee and I have bought numerous spoiled gallons of milk and cheeses from this store.

I didn't have other options yesterday so I ended up buying a pack of cheese from this store, hoping that the situation was fixed by now. I opened the new bag of cheese to find green mold growing inside. This is an ENRAGING discovery to make while grabbing the new pack of cheese to top off your homemade pizza that you've just assembled and are preparing to shove in the oven.

I'm absolutely furious over the amount of money we've wasted on spoiled dairy products from this store.

This store is outrageously overpriced and isn't nearly as clean as one would expect a grocery store to be. The produce is often spoiled and it's common to find outdated items on shelves. This used to be a very nice grocery store, prices were always inflated but it was well stocked, clean and kept up. Since it has been taken over by Needler's it has steadily gone down hill and even has an odor. There is another grocery store in town that specializes in generic brands with limited and unreliable product availability. Needler's is the only grocery store in town that offers a typical selection of brand name products, deli foods and specialty ingredients. It will be a great loss to the community when they close but with the way they are currently operating it...

Thus store does not keep there food product stocked very well the hot food in the deli is never there it's either been sitting since 1130 am when they first put it out or they don't make more when it's gone so it's no wonder not many people go there I went the other day the fried chicken in the had been there since before the employee came in at 2pm and they had no rotisserie chickens were out or they just didn't make any that day so u can't really count on the convenience of getting something hot to take home they just never have what I'm going after at this store and the store is kinda run down looking and u really have to check dates on things the only thing it's really got going is it's the only grocery store in hartfordcity in.
