C. Town super market. (While is not that big and I don't consider it a supermarket) C.Town is a bigger than a conviniance store is not a supermarket.( even do they call them self that way) is a place that will mostly sell spanish products at their convenience price for the locals that can not go and shop at the big supermarkets. And by them having most of the products that the Spanish and some black population use for their cooking they raise the prices alittle higher for the convenience of them having the products and the person won't have to go to the big supermarkets. Ok ,that is ok at times but not good for when trying to do big grocery shopping for prices are alot higher that supermarkets and right there is where they make money and stay afloat. Now if you are just going to pick up a few items and don't want to do the long drive or just want to advoid the supermarket then yes is ok or want to go for their hot food then I say yes it is very good at varys locations. For a conviniance store their food at some locations are really good. Better than going to any other spanish food place to grab hot food to bring home. Yes it is so good i do recomend wethersfield ave location for the hot food. Not only is a very convenience price affordable hot food but is so good and better than alot of other restaurant places in Hartford better than Aqui me quedo for sure, better than El Comerio for sure, better than Plaza Del Mercado for sure just better hot food than any other hot food place in park st.( Although Bean Spot is also very good) so if you interested in going to a 1 place to shop and buy hot spanish food then C Town wethersfield ave would be your...
Read moreIf you are looking for the amazing prepared hot foods that they had when they were called C-Town, sorry. Although it looks like they are still available unfortunately, they are not. I ordered cuajitos (only time I would eat this was from this C-Town) and never again! This type of delicacy most certainly has to be made a specific way starting with the size of the pieces, their pieces were huge making the tecture gummy, sticky and honestly not very well cooked. The size of the pieces also made it difficult for the pieces to absorb the flavor which as you can assume is bad, very bad for this type of meat. So disappointed! Also, tried the soup thinking maybe it was just an off day... no, not the day, definitely the cooks and/or the process. Welp, guess that's the end of...
