I ordered two hydrojug tumblers back in November. They came in a LARGE 4lb box. Stated it was delivered to my house at 7:09am on December 17th (my mail doesn’t run til around 10:30) on my porch. It wasn’t. Contacted the post office, they said it was delivered to my mailbox. The package would not have fit in my mailbox. So I advised them of this, they sent the carrier back out, they stated she “put it in the wrong mailbox but is going to put it on my porch”. Again, WOULD NOT FIT IN A MAILBOX. I finally received my package, and filmed myself opening it because of the bullshit I went through to get it. Not only that, but the tape had been tampered with. And to no surprise to me, one of my tumblers was missing from the package. And inside the box was ONE tumbler and a QR sticker sheet for Kratom!! I filed a complaint. They did nothing about it. Thankfully the company sent me a new one. They delivered an expensive Sephora package to the wrong house. They have “delivered” expensive packages for my father that never arrived to him. And this week, they “delivered” my daughter’s limited edition blanket to “my mailbox” so they say. But it was never in there, as I checked as soon as I received the notification it was delivered. I called the post office again, they advised it was delivered, I told them it wasn’t, told them the delivery driver needed to be spoke with. They said it could have been anything and maybe it wasn’t the delivery persons fault, I again told them I checked my mailbox NOT EVEN TWO MINUTES AFTER RECEIVING THE NOTIFICATION. Instead of trying to rectify the situation and be a decent manager the male told me there’s nothing they can do about it and to file a claim. I stated I would be contacting someone to come out and investigate their post office since this is the 4th time this has happened in less than 2 months. They do not care because it’s not their hard earned money being taken from them. With that being said, get yourself a P.O. Box or have it delivered somewhere trustworthy because the office on W McKinley does not give two shits about getting your...
Read moreIncompetent doesn't begin to cover the majority of employees at this location. We live in the Tuscany subdivision and have always had problems getting our mail. We have witnessed carriers literally wearing pajamas and house slippers while delivering mail. On just about a weekly basis our mail is not delivered or we receive mail for the wrong people. We flat out stopped receiving mail in my wife's former last name because the supervisor informed us that "you don't live at that address." Her exact words. This was on Monday April 12th at 9:37 am. She refused on two occasions to give me her name. She also blamed our lack of mail delivery on a "new carrier." They have no problems delivering the wrong mail to my house but cannot seem to deliver the mail of the people who actually BOUGHT THE HOUSE. The supervisor told me that our mail would be placed in our mailbox along with a card to fill out stating who lives at my address. (My family has been there since April of 2020) The supervisor called me later that day at 3:01 pm (again refusing to give me her name) and told me that she drove to my house and did not deliver the piece of mail I inquired about or the card to fill out. She told me that I needed to come to the location to pick it up myself. I thought mail delivery was in a postal carrier's job description. When I got there everyone acted as though they had no clue as to what I was talking about. I can't prove it, but I'm sure that I was speaking to the supervisor from earlier even though she told me that she would be gone by the time that I got there. I am currently in the process of converting every bill and correspondence to digital format and I refuse to use the postal service if I can help it. I am also in the process of filing a formal complaint with the USPS and fully intend to take it as high as I can go. The people at the Haughton location obviously do not care about their jobs. I will be glad when the USPS goes under. I'll happily pay to UPS or FEDEX a birthday card before I spend cents on a stamp. You get what...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would. The incompetence runs rampant at this post office. I've been having multiple issues with getting deliveries on time, along with bills and other things. This post office has done, what I can only assume deliberately, left deliveries at my house while completely omitting or forgetting others. How do you deliver packages and just completely forget others? Especially when they're already late? And when you go to the post office to confront them, the only response you get is "We're doing the best we can." I'm way more patient than most people would be. And after you've heard this excuse a million times, had multiple deliveries delayed and in some cases being in this post office's possession for almost a week before they decide to bring them out to you? At some point the excuses become hollow. This isn't rocket science - it's mail delivery. If you can't deliver the mail due to staffing, hire more people. If it's a leadership issue, get rid of the post master. It's not complicated. This post office is easily the worst thing about living in the...
