I ordered pizza at 5:41pm from pizza hut in Haughton via online for delivery. Said it would be delivered at 6:41. At 6:30, someone from that location called me to tell me they had no pizza hut delivery drivers and that door dash would be delivering for me. The person on the phone insured me he would call me within the hour to let me know my pizza was delivered. I was at work and was doing this for my kids. I NEVER received a phone call. I called MULTIPLE TIMES and no one answered the phone. At 8:00, I started receiving door dash messages stating my pizza was going to be delivered by a William D. At 7:04. AGAIN, I GOT THIS MESSAGE AT 8!! After several door dash messages, me trying to contact the phone number provided for the driver, to no avail., at 8:43, I got a text my pizza had been delivered. At this point, we didn't even want it, but I had my child go look and IT WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND! I had my mom drive all the way from shreveport to the pizza hut in Haughton since i was at work, so I could address this via telephone. The manager there, was not the one there when I originally ordered but proceeds to tell me my order was canceled and never made to be delivered. But yet, I had a receipt, door dash messages and a charge for the amount I paid!! Number 1 if they had no delivery drivers to begin with no one, myself included should have been able to make a delivery order online! We have always used this store as it is convenient for us and have never had issues. But I will NEVER use them again, I will be calling corporate and I WILL be reimbursed!!...
Read morePlaced online order @3:45 for 6pm delivery. 6:15 no pizza, call store and was told they would talk to the manager and call me back. 6:30 I still hadn't heard anything so I called back and was told they didn't have any delivery drivers (No delivery drivers on a SATURDAY NIGHT?!?! They were using door dash and my order was just put in the oven. They dont make orders until they have a driver.) So at 6:30 the pizza is just in the oven and had to cook and then be delivered putting it at close to an hour late if no longer. I asked the manager why I wasn't contacted and she said they don't do that. I then asked the manager if I could be compensated in any way and she said no. So I reiterated that I was going to be paying full price for a pizza that is going to be delivered atleast an hour late if not longer and she said yes. So lesson learned pizza hut. That will be the last time I order from you. The absolute least you could do is notify your customers that their order is going to be really late and give them the option to go elsewhere. Or throw in a certain percentage off. Horrible customer service. The pizza is now an hr late and the tracking still shows it being made....
After posting this another manager reached out to me apologizing for the wait, remade a fresh pizza at no cost to me and offered to deliver it personally. I did take the free pizza because i was out of town and my son had been waiting for dinner, but I went and picked it up myself. He still didn't acknowledge me I even yelled out sir his co worker advised him I did so he still ignored me. So I called out sir a few more times he still ignored me to after 5 minutes of watching him walk back and forth he finally came to the front I asked are you ignoring me. He still didn't appear to be in good spirit. I felt very disrespected and for what reason. This is very unacceptable just for him to say 30 minute wait. Why have an attitude. I do not appreciate it one bit. To the light skin black man that ignored me while I was trying to get your attention and being rude on top, I hope you read this and think about how you treated me and the rest of the customers that came in after me people CANCELED their orders because of your attitude so....
