I needed a new pair of bedroom slippers for around the house and when I get in and out of the shower. I bought bedroom slippers (Isotoner) from this Kohl's before. This should've been simple, in and out in no more than fifteen minutes. It took at least thirty minutes, maybe even forty-five. The section for the bedroom slippers was, frankly, a disaster area. It looked like a tornado had gone through the section and removed most of the slippers from the metal rods and most of what was left was either small or extra large. I needed medium. I was able to find one pair of Isotoner dark navy blue mules in a nice soft velvet and a pair of fuzzy, light blue slippers with no heel back (I'm not sure if they're considered mules or not) that were dirt cheap (thank you, 15% off coupon), but I'm still not thrilled about my experience. The store employee, who I was finally able to find, was a big help. If it wasn't for her, I would've given up in complete disgust. As it is, I haven't tried them on yet (it's kind of been one thing after another and I just haven't gotten to it yet and the slippers that I thought needed immediate replacement are still hanging on) and I'm not sure that I'm not going to return one or even both of them. Both of them have a thicker sole than I'm used to (especially the navy blue ones.) I have issues with my balance and I'm not sure about whether they're safe for me to use. I'm including pictures of the slippers.

I visited this store yesterday and was getting some things with my daughter. When we were ready to checkout, we were standing there for about 10 minutes, looking for a cashier. I finally approach a person with black checkered pants and asked if there was a cashier, since she was standing at a register and glanced at us when we came up. She said, "yeah, I'm about to get there". Then, she proceeded to still ignore us, and checked out a woman who walked over from the returns line, instead of telling her that we were there before her. I was finally called over by another cashier who was very nice. The cashier who ignored us should be re-trained in customer service, because she was very rude. I have never been treated like that at Kohl's, but I'm there often and have noticed the service is getting to be poor.

It is your typical department store consists of every single type of items from clothing to furniture to miscellaneous gift ideas. Prices are medium to high but you can get fortunate if you have the coupons. They have an Amazon return site and every return gets you $5 off coupon. It is a great way for them to acquire new customers. This store is mostly for parents grandparents who will take their teens or kids but not really a big drawer for the younger population. Overall, it is a great department store if you need one.

On May 23rd, around 430 p.m., I went into Kohl's to shop for my family. The lines were very long, no problem. By the time it was my turn, I was presented with a cashier who did not greet me. She then barked at me to move my cart so others could get by, I obliged. I then proceeded to put my things on the wrong side of the table, and she barked that I was on the wrong side. No dignity, no respect in her words. Embarrassed, yet again. She began to ring my things up when I told her I could bag my own things as I'm pressed for time. She then, very dryly, said, "No, I'll do it." I then insisted with my explanation of time, and she continued to ring my things up with a dry, "No, I will do it." I turned and asked her for the shopping bag I purchased, and she again insisted that she would do it. I reached to grab my bag, and it got stuck, so I asked her to help me get the bag when she begrudgingly did. I asked her if she could hand me the things and she already rung up, when she again very dryly said, "I have to check some of the items them for security tags" after she already did(I watched her) , no problem. I then said, ma'am give me the things you checked, and I'll bag those to which she declined again." I turned & said, "Well, give me the things on the hangers so I can at least take the hangers off to which she very dryly declined. So, I then grabbed some items and began to take the hangers from the bottom of the tops when she began to very roughly handle my things. I & the entire line watched this woman take a hanger from the neck of the shirt while stretching it and when I said, ma'am you're stretching my shirt, she said, "you're in a rush, right? " Seven-hundred dollars later, I go through the security wall and beep- that was further punishment for me not letting her have her power trip. I am appalled that people like Bre/Bree/Bri work with the general public. She has absolutely no social skills and was very unpleasant to start to finish. I will be escalating the matter because no one spending their hard earned dollar deserves to be treated as I was yesterday. This woman embarrassed me in a store full of people. You'd treat a dog with more dignity than what I was presented. Had I the iota that I'd be meeting this woman called Bre/Bree/Bri, I would have NEVER EVER WENT INTO THE STORE! I looked through some items, and they are stretched at the collar, so I'll be returning them tomorrow. I will NOT be going back there to shop as long as this unfortunate individual...

Yesterday when I bought two clothing items and paid for it, I found that I could have gotten a discount, so the cashier told me to go to customer service to return and buy it. Upon getting there and explaining the situation and intent to return both items for the discount, the employee only returned one item of clothing, stripping me of $4.34 that I could have saved. The store was closing, so the cashier said I could come back the next day and have it adjusted. Today, after going through a lot of hassle with the custom service and finally getting the manager, they finally agreed to give me the discount. The employee then said she could only return the items, which would void me of $5 store cash. She then continued to be openly rude to me and accusing me of "asking more when I was already getting a discount". When I told her that it was saved from yesterday's purchase and I want to keep it and it wasn't my fault, she retorted by saying it wasn't her fault either. When the manager told her to balance the money, she wouldn't let me use my Yes2You rewards card. After insisting saying that I need to call the number on the card to get the points, she then repeatedly asked me if I wanted to purchase the items, and that there were other people in line. I was forced to pay without using the rewards card. When she was done, she slammed my receipt on the counter and left without a word. When she came back, I asked her if everything was done, and she kept asking me if I needed a bag, saying that I took my items and ignoring the fact that I asked her if everything was finished multiple times and was ignored. When she was done, I asked her for her name, and she took off her name card and walked away. Finally, I was told that her name was Sxxxxx. I am very disappointed with the employee's service today, and although the manager was helpful, Sxxxxx was openly rude to me and would have given me $4.34 back, voiding the $5.00. Despite this, the manager was very nice and helped me...

I usually shop in the Granite run or Springfield kohl’s and do my Amazon returns all at once because I never have a good experience at the Havertown Kohl’s. I was shopping at the giant in the shopping center had Amazon returns and didn’t feel like driving across town so I decided to stop in here real quick since it was close by. I was waiting in the designated lines they have for Amazon returns and 2 employees were working and assisting customers. I proceeded to go over to the 2nd line where the employee was already helping the customer but had no one else behind her. The line I was in had 2 people in front of me so I thought let me not stand in the middle of the store because the line was extending out and I was in customers way as the store was busy and people were walking by. The worker said in a snippy tone “there’s only one line” when clearly there was 2 designated lines separated by the belt barrier. I said no problem, I stepped back to the first line I was in and waited patiently. I would say about a minute later another customer comes up and stands in the same spot that I was told to leave from and the worker finished up with her customer and says “hi can I help you” to that customer who just walked up, doesn’t even acknowledge the fact that I was there first and after telling me “there’s only one line” but doesn’t say anything to that customer while she stood and waited like I was doing. She literally disregarded what she said to me in front of my face as it doesn’t apply to everyone. She needs to provide the same service to all customers and not pick and choose. I gave 2 stars because the employee who did my returns was so helpful and kind when i was having issues with my return. Unlike her coworker, very poor work ethic on her part. Will not be returning to this store due to the rude and discourteous employees I’ve encountered on other occasions as well as this one at this...
