If it was ANYWAY possible to give ZER00000 stars I MOST definitely would!!!
On 12-10-23 in the early morning hours I went to the Haverhill Target store to exchange a microwave oven I just purchased on 12-6-23,..so I approached the customer service counter and said "I don't want my money back, all I want is to exchange this microwave for one that works and can I please speak to a manager to ask if I can test it out before I leave the store because I live too far to make another drive here", so the customer service person called the manager on the walkie talkie and asked if after I brought the microwave if I could test it out before leaving the store and the manager responded back with a "no" answer. I then asked the customer service person if she would ask the manager to come and talk to me personally, the manager agreed, when she came over to talk to me I explained I lived way too far to come back if there was a problem with the microwave so Sarah the manager said yes I could test it out but they aren't responsible for helping me test it, so she proceeded to walk over to the nearest electrical outlet and pointed it out then I said "thank you". After I paid for the microwave I walked to the electrical outlet that Sarah the store manager gave me permission to use, while I'm testing the microwave another store employee comes over to me then yells at me to "pack it up and get out of the store",...I immediately tell her Sarah the store manager gave me permission to test my purchased microwave out. After I informed this employee that Sarah the manager gave me permission to use the outlet she went on to say she didn't believe me and for me to get out of the store.
My merchandise was fully paid for and while I was testing it out I was yelled at by another employee to leave the store, words were exchanged and Sarah the manager finally came over and made a ton of excuses for that employee's conduct.
I'm hoping the Target corporation will address this very...
Read moreWent to buy an item at target. I saw the item was on sale on their website and verified it was available in the Haverhill location. Once I got their and found the item, I asked why the price in the store was more expensive the the price on the target website. The customer service associates asked me how much the target site was. The item in the store was $25.00, the same item on the target website was listed at $22.39. The associate said when they went to verify it on the target site, they supposedly saw it for $25.00 and since I didn't have an ad or smart device that they could not verify what I said.
So, when I went home I went on the target site to check it. There it is listed at $22.39. So the next day I went back to target to ask and this time brought a smart device to verify it to the associate. The associate said, "that must be an online only price and in store we cannot adjust the price for you"
When looking at the target website, there is nothing that says it is an online only price, so if that is true, target should make that very clear on their site. Also, when looking at the target price match policy on the target site, it says simply bring in your receipt within 14 days of purchasing the item with the proof of the lower price on the target site and if it is the same item, then target will "supposedly" price match for you. This is simply false. Target does not wish to stand behind their own policy all for the sake of $2.61.
Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. That was a piss pore way to treat a customer. If target won't price match all for $2.61, why would they ever stand behind...
Read moreThis is my favorite place to shop however some of the workers at this location literally have zero idea what's going on and look lost most times when I come to them with a question. It's mainly the people working the registers. I'm not sure what the training program looks like at this store or if the cashiers are being properly trained but they are most times unaware of ongoing promotions, policies, etc.
Yesterday an associate shrugged their shoulders at me when I asked about where the free first aid kit was and how the promotion worked because she was charging me for it. She didn't know what was going on so she called the manager over. The cashier walked away from her register just as I was being helped so she didn't hear what the manager said about the promotion. She came back a minute or two later and then asked me to explain to her how it worked - like huh?
There are always items laying on the ground all over the store: shoe section, clearance racks, bras, etc. It's ALWAYS a mess and sometimes it's so bad that you cannot even walk through and definitely can't push a cart through certain aisles.
Also, I am new at using the target app - and was unaware it can be used in stores because none of the cashiers ever mention the target app at checkout. I've missed out on so many deals and savings due to this. A lot of the workers just seem irritated...
