Making our way through town yesterday, 5/27/22, my mother and I stopped at Tarone's. Amazing store with one of the best 50's style facades I've seen. Totally classic. Years ago, my grandmother was friendly with one of the brothers painted on the wall and I remember as a kid (was maybe in the late '70s) being introduced to him (remember those paper hats they wore behind the counter??) and he started giving me samples of absolutely amazing sausage. Aside from some canned provisions, everything is homemade. We were treated to a conversation with one of the Tarones (pictured) who graciously told us about their anniversary and various goings on. The whole family is super friendly and we really enjoyed being in their store. Looking forward to having my sausage as well as my next visit! 80 years is an amazing run! COVID prevented a visit during their anniversary year but, better late than never! Anyhow, congratulations to them and best wishes for many, many more years!

This place is like a Hazleton landmark- they been in business forever. You can't go wrong coming here for meats. Staff is courteous and friendly. Everything he sells is great. Great butchering of meats. I always buy Beef tenderloin, chicken, hamburger and sardines- it's great.

Gave it 3 stars due to the outdated potato salad that I bought in the store about 4 pm. The date on it is July! Today is Aug 12th.! Even mine doesnt last that long. Not happy! Looked at the date after it tasted sour. C'mon people. It's a small store. You must...
