Funny how there seems to be no reviews from the many disgruntled vendors. So I highly doubt this honest review will ever see the light of day. First off, let me say that there are some good folks that work there. It's hardly those employees that hv anything to do with the business practices. When, as a vendor, u open an account they hv a video that your asked to sit and watch. Explaining to u how things operate. And u can believe this!.. u had better watch it twice over! For 2 years I carried a lot of nice clothes furniture, brand new carhart clothing, on and on. There was still a bit of learning curve at first. Like twice a year the seasons change. And so they just throw all yr merchandise away. (Or donate). Or a couple of times I took a considerable amount of clothes up there that didn't get posted at all! They claimed that they were behind on posting. I would go up about once a month to collect my money. It was always like $22 check or maybe $18 or some minute amount after me taking as many items as allowed. Call ask for a print out oh yeah they shoot one right to u. Some half way accurate others not showing half what u had taken. But u can bet they always have reasons. The mistake I made was this..I should hv kept better records and took many pictures of everything I took. The whole time I made excuses for them. That I was failing to do something right on my end. There's no excuse for such little checks when I took a lot of items. That were always laundered and hung up. Very clean or brand...
Read moreDO NOT CONSIGN AT NEWLY NEW CONSIGNMENT! I have consigned with them ever since right after they opened & spend 95% of the money I make in there store. I have never kept up with my account by asking for a print out bc I trusted them to be responsible for the items I left there. Recently bc I had left 54 pr of name brand jeans I gt a print out. 18 pr had sold for full price, 9 pr at 1/2 price, 3 pr at 20% off & 24 pr showed to have been donated. I addressed the issue with Katie. 3 days later I spoke with her again. She told me that she had checked the floor, my jeans were not there, that they had not been donated. That they do not donate designer jeans. That they will leave them on the floor past the 8 wks & give the consigner partial credit. I was given a $67 credit for the 9 pr from 1 drop off date & she ask for time to look into the rest. I had 6 other designer items missing as well. When we did gt to go over my account I was given no more credit & was told they had been donated in Texas & all over the United States. The total price listed on my statement for these 30 items is $681. Like I already said she credited me $67. I'm done with Newly New Consignment poor security &...
Read moreIts a pretty decent place to shop. That can become addictive. Go for 1 item & come out with several...always more "New to you" finds. As far as Prices.-they can be a bit too pricey on used Items. But they are negotiable if you can show why the asking price is too much or usual user wear & tear..damage or the original price for it brand new. They're willing to work with you..The only complaint is they should e tend the returns to 48 hours on electronics, instead of 24 hrs. Because most times the defect becomes obvious after the 24 hours has pasted. Complement? Keep the christian Atmosphere Going over the PA System. Some of the music is very calming & a refuge to people needing that reminder or who've never known the message of Christ or had wrong ideas of him or...
