My husband and I were visiting from out of town, and Jitterbug Coffeehouse was highly recommended. We arrived at 2:20pm on a Saturday afternoon to have lunch and coffee. We were told no lunch is served after 2pm (what?!? … very disappointing!). Since no lunch was available, we were told we could order a toasted bagel with cream cheese, so that’s what my husband ordered - a toasted bagel with cream cheese and a mocha coffee with additional double shot of espresso… when it was my turn to order, I told the server I wanted same order as my husband; the bill came to $16.42 (I gave a $20 bill and added 2 extra dollars to the change leaving a $5.58 tip in counter tip jar).
The atmosphere was very nice with an eclectic vibe of decor and the area we sat at was clean.
When the server brought out our food order, there was only one toasted bagel; we were informed we only paid for one bagel and two mochas with double shots. I had to go back to the counter and pay for another bagel. When the second bagel came out, it was cool to the touch and untoasted.
The two coffee mocha’s tasted fine, but did not have additional double espresso shots. We left the Jitterbug Coffeehouse disappointed with service and our overall experience. Why does lunch stop being served at 2pm when the shop is open until 5pm (according to the website)?!? I also wished I had not tipped at the register so quickly upon paying, since the service we received did not warrant a...
Read moreThis place is great for fresh made healthier food! I love to come during the day while the kids are in school and visit with a friend from church. I just really wish they had high chairs because I usually bring my 15 month old with me and she has to sit in my lap. The food is always good! Service is wonderful. Everyone there is so kind. Only bad experience I've had there was when I ordered a turkey and avocado and apparently they were out of turkey so hey substituted my sandwich with ham. They didn't even bother to tell me. I was not happy about that because I don't eat ham or any pork. So very disappointed in that experience. But overall a great place and I will continue to...
Read moreCute cafe in downtown Heber Springs. Plenty of seating inside with tables and couches. There is seating outside as well. They have coffees and lattes and nuerous flavors. They have a selection of bagged Tazo teas. There are scones, muffins and cookies. They also serve light lunch such as paninis and sandwiches and soup. I took 1 star off because of the rushed feeling and vibe I got from cashier. I also was not sure what to do with our trash and dishes when we were done. Leave it or put it somewhere? I did see them get someone else's empty dishes off their table but.no one ever came to ours once they brought the food. Overall, it was cozy and delicious and we...
