Ramona Event Center — Local services in Hemet

After careful consideration I decided that I would write on my experience and let you be the judge if you ever decide to rent the hall. When we began correspondence with the owner by visiting the hall to see if it was a good fit for us, we felt rushed about showing up on time, we have a special needs baby. The hall itself was in poor condition by having roof leaks, they assured us that it would be fixed. After giving them the benefit of the doubt, we put a deposit and secured a date for my daughters party. We politely requested to set up balloon arches the day prior and she agreed. When we showed up, she claimed that she was under the impression that we were just dropping off the equipment. We were swift to correct her and showed text messages that we exchanged. While I was setting up the arch, the owner was talking very inappropriately about how to procreate and how to “select” gender through different positions to my girlfriend. Not only was my girlfriend feeling uncomfortable the owner began to explain that she almost sold us out to another potential client that was willing to pay triple for the day we had and the owner explained that she was going to ask us to move to a different date despite us already having a security deposit. I would of canceled the party but everything was paid in full and I knew I wouldn’t be getting my full refund if we try to argue about how unprofessional the owners behavior was. We were also informed that she would not be providing limes as she claimed that she forgot them and that we could bring our own. The day of the party, restrooms weren’t cleaned prior to the party and my mother spoke up about the issue. The owner did clean the restroom, however, with confidence if no one spoke up she would not have cleaned it. There were also buckets to catch water from the leaking roof as it was raining that day so clearly the issue was not fixed. Once the party commenced the owner made vulgar comments about my mother to my girlfriend. The food in my opinion was not great and there was little to no napkins as they were only provided in spork kits. When we brought the limes the owner claimed that she had no knife to cut them. We paid for a catering service with the hall and the owner made comments to my girlfriends mother that some of the sodas were not for us and made her buy more if we wanted more soda. This highly unprofessional. If we’re paying for a service as a bare minimum supplies like napkins, food, and drinks should be provided. There was no disclosure that there was a limit on drinks as she claimed everything will be provided.The owner also allowed her children to run around and participate in our party functions which is a no no. I highly recommend that you consider carefully if this hall is an option for you. If you plan to have a cake you better be sure to provide your own plates and silverware. We have been fortunate to use this space for our company events, and training for our team. This is a great location, and a hidden gem in Hemet. We would highly recommend this venue for your business events, or personal parties. We have used the space 3 times and it's been a great experience each time.

Great little event center. Anyone who grew up in thus town knew this place as a bowling alley, or antique store. Vut it's been newly renovated, and looks great.
